The Group has a comprehensive talent management programme tailored to different levels of career advancement, and promising employees are encouraged to do a stint overseas. They are also given opportunities to share with and learn from their colleagues by participating in the inhouse CapitaLand Management Programme (CMP).
Apart from this in-house management course, employees are encouraged to attend functional learning events that will lead to personal development and productivity improvement. Other management programmes which are available to employees include the three-day 'Essentials of Management' and 'Essentials of Business Leadership' courses.
At higher management levels, employees are sent for executive development programmes at renowned graduate schools such as Harvard and INSEAD, to sharpen their management and business skills. Management retreats are also held biannually, including overseas trips for a better understanding of the Groupís overseas projects.
Mr Liew Mun Leong, President and CEO of CapitaLand Group, meets up frequently with talents from all the business units in one-on-one sessions or in small groups.
