Julien Marinetti
Born
1967, France
Julien Marinetti discovered his artistic feel during his youth. He ran away from school, which he considered boring, and spent days wandering in museums. He later joined the Beaux-Arts School in Paris but felt like a stranger there and left the school after only 48 hours. By chance, Marinetti met Jean Dewasne who taught him the art of painted metallic “anti-sculptures”, thus developing his own distinct sculptural style.
