Ong Kim Seng is a self-taught watercolourist who first catapulted to fame in the 1970s as “The Nepal Painter”. He has been the art editor of several journals, author of watercolour publications, and long-term President of the Singapore Watercolour Society. He is the first Asian outside the USA to be conferred the Dolphin Fellowship by the American Watercolour Society. Ong has won multiple awards including the Cultural Medallion, Singapore Excellence, and Singapore International Award.
