Specially commissioned by CapitaLand for its headquarters office, Beautiful Singapore is a digital dreamscape of the Lion City. Klibansky took numerous pictures of the city’s architecture, people, flora and fauna, clouds, and its expanse of water and created a work built up of hundreds of layers of these images on archival cotton paper. He then painstakingly highlighted some parts of it with acrylic paint and overlaid the paper with a liquid resin to create a new media work of the 21st century.
