Takeuchi’s works are made of broken white glazed porcelain. His sculptures appear humble, clean and elegant, reflecting the traditional values of Japanese aesthetics, “wabi-sabi”; the acceptance of imperfection and the beauty that is “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”.
