This painting, specially commissioned for Citadines Mt Sophia, shows a night scene from the Mt Sophia area with its street lights, trees, shop houses, as well as CapitaLand’s Wilkie Edge where Citadines is located. The work exudes a dreamy quality; everything seems out of focus, as if seen through a veil. The bright colours of city lights – blue, magenta, orange - come through strongly against the pitched black sky and form a graceful rhythm in the composition.
