To enjoy the rewards, simply spend a minimum of S$20 at the 15 participating CapitaMalls and you can earn 5 STAR$ ® for every dollar spent at other stores, and 1 STAR$ ® for every dollar spent at supermarkets and food courts. You can collect up to 1,000 STAR$ ® a day. Every 5,000 STAR$ ® allows you to redeem a S$5 CapitaVoucher. This STAR$ ® reward comes on top of all other credit/debit and privilege card programmes!
Membership is available online or with the CAPITASTAR app. The benefit of the having the app is that it affords you added convenience. You can snap a picture of your receipt, then upload it to earn STAR$ ® . With the app, it is so easy and you are less likely to forget to capture your spending.
The app also helps you keep track of your rewards. A transactional page tells you the status of the receipts you have uploaded, and which have been awarded. You can check up on your total STAR$ ®earned and decide how many STAR$ ®to exchange for CapitaVouchers.
Prompt Promotions
Much of the fun of shopping has to do with getting the best bargains. Ultra-luxury mall ION Orchard, has an app that clues shoppers in on the latest deals and promotions offered by its tenants. Find out more about the offers by tapping on the list shown under the ‘Specials’ tab. You can also obtain information about the stores including their locations, telephone numbers and opening hours; read reviews; or even add in your own. In addition, you can share these deals with your friends through Facebook or add the stores to your ‘Favourites’ list for easy reference in the future.
Your Personal Shopping Guide
The app will also be able to help you navigate around the mall. You can start by searching according to alphabetical order, categories, store levels or key words through the directory.
Best of all, there is a Navigation function that provides you with step by step directions from your current location to your next destination within the mall. You can opt for the fastest route, a route via the elevator or one via the escalator.
