Understanding the essential role of art and music, CapitaLand Vietnam organizes Air Fest – Music, Art and Bazaar even at its mall, The Oxygen, on Saturday 25 February 2017. Live Music:

Pêche à la Mouche: Established in Saigon (2013) by Nicolas Caumont & Christian Bouaziz, "Peche a la Mouche" (or PALM) is a humble tribute (with a twist of funk/blues) to the Jazz Manouche style, a brainchild of one of the greatest guitarist of all times: Django Reinhardt, along with his alter-ego Stephane Grapelli (violin). And further kept alive by musicians such as Birelli Lagrene, Trio Rosenberg, Romane, Christian Escoude....

Gwennili: This is a Breton music band based in HCMC. Since the early 1970s, Brittany, a province in the north of France, has experienced a tremendous revival of its folk music which includes a variety of vocal styles and includes instruments like Celtic harp, Violon, Clarinet, Guitar, Wooden flute and Accordion. Watch this band perform this unusual style of music at the Air Fest.

Toi Latino: Gaby is a multi-instrumentalist from Cyprus— a driving force in Saigon’s music scene. He’ll be taking us on a journey of sound with Nestor, a line up featuring Latin, Reggae and Soul music.

South Radish: A self-taught artist from Russia who explores world of art with an open heart of a child! Specialize on turning things into piece of art.

Henna Art by Kim: Kim will be providing Henna Tattoo Service so you can get yourself inked with her beautiful designs.

 

In addition, you can check out the art exhibition of Brice Godard. Brice is a French cinematographer and photographer based in Saigon. He graduated from the renowned International Film School of Paris and photography school of Chalon-sur-Saône, during which he focused on expressing his artistic vision with the use of specialized lenses. In his exhibition Brice will us the beauty of what we usually overlook, by focusing hidden detail that is hidden from the human eye in day-to-day objects like ink, milk and soap. 

 

Specially, join our first Typsy art event at Air Fest as you paint to live music featuring awesome worldwide musicians. Typsy Art is the first drinking and painting event in Vietnam where we will instruct all of you to paint one goegeous pre-chosen painting in just 2 hours. No previous experience required, promise. This time, the name of the painting we are going to create at Air Fest is “Dandelion”. And yes, you can bring your painting home. The sum by selling art materials will be donated to “Save the bears” association. 10% fee for Tipsy workshop will also be donated to the charity.
