CapitaLand Kids Programme
CapitaLand Kids Programme (CKP) was launched to provide long term financial support for promising underprivileged children beyond their primary school education, CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF) tracks the growth and development of these children and to ensure that their access to education will not be compromised by their disadvantaged family backgrounds.
CapitaLand Therapy for Children Project
With the objective to support the rehabilitation needs of underprivileged children with physical disabilities, CHF China (CHFC) partnered China Charity Federation (CCF), a Chinese government-linked charity organisation directly under the charge of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, to launch the CapitaLand Therapy for Children Project in late 2012.
CapitaLand Young Architect Programme
CapitaLand Young Architect Programme (CLYAP) is funded by CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF) and supported by the People’s Association (PA), Community Development Councils (CDCs) and National University of Singapore (NUS). CLYAP aims to inspire the younger generation to play a role in shaping real estate of the future and sets out to empower the community in rethinking the design and infrastructure of public spaces around their neighbourhood through participatory design.
Singapore received a pair of male and female Giant Pandas from China on 6 September 2012 as part of a 10-year joint collaborative programme to promote giant panda conservation, raise public awareness of conservation and implement a giant panda breeding research project. CapitaLand is committed to contribute to the conservation efforts of these endangered giant pandas.
Kids' Food Fund
A UNICEF report published in 2009 showed that there are 180 million children with growth retardation due to malnutrition worldwide.
CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF) launched its Kids' Food Fund (KFF) with a series of food-related programmes in support of United Nations World Food Day on 16 October 2010. The objective of establishing KFF is to improve the food security and childhood nutrition of underprivileged children in Asia.
P.E.E.K. (Providing Educational Exposure for Kids) is a fun-filled discovery trail of iconic CapitaLand properties and landmarks, giving children a rare glimpse into the behind-the-scenes operations of the real estate industry. The children invited to be on the tour are beneficiaries supported by CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF) and the staff's children.
President's Challenge (PC) is an annual fundraising initiative by President of the Republic of Singapore to raise awareness and invoke action to help the less fortunate in the community. Since 2008, CapitaLand has been supporting children's charities of PC through CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF). CHF has donated more than S$1.7 million to support 25 children charities in Singapore under PC to-date.
S.E.N.D. for Hope
S.E.N.D. (Send E-cards and Donate) For Hope programme is a creative worldwide initiative that CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF) started to spread the festive cheer while saving the earth and helping the underprivileged children. For every eco-friendly e-card sent by the public to a unique recipient, CHF gives S$2 to a selected children charity.
