CapitaLand-NUH Children’s Nutrition Fund

CapitaLand-NUH Children’s Nutrition Fund was established in 2016 to support underprivileged children undergoing medical treatment for specific conditions at the pediatric ward of National University Hospital. It aims to improve food security and nutritional wellbeing of children from financially challenged families through the provision of fortified milk formulas and nutritional supplements. Since then, 102 children benefitted from the programme, out of which 86% of them experienced weight improvement. From January to October 2020 (report was provided in December and was able to take into account data up till October only), 29 out of 33 beneficiaries attained clinical expectations for their weight gain, while 31 out of 33 attained clinical expectations for their height gain.
