Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) is organizing an outing for its beneficiaries (18 - 26 years old) at Bedok Mall. Volunteers can befriend the beneficiaries for a fun and exciting day with an interesting Music Shaker craft workshop, Christmas Bubble show, shopping and lunch treats.

Blossom World Society is seeking volunteers in December to help raise funds at Plaza Singapura, through gift wrapping services and sales of Christmas gifts. Shoppers can donate any amount they wish for the gift-wrapping service or pay for Christmas gifts based on their age at the "Pay-Your-Age" Christmas Booth during the mall’s late-night shopping special.   CapitaLand Hope Foundation will match dollar-for-dollar for the proceeds collected from both initiatives.

Society for the Aged Sick is constantly looking for volunteers to befriend the elderly at Hougang Ave 1. The nursing home organizes many activities to engage the elderly such as the following:

1. Art and Craft - Every Wednesday, 1.30pm to 4.30pm

2. Cook With Me - Every Friday, 1.30pm to 4.30pm

3. Befriending / Adopt a ward - Date and time can be arranged as required

4. Coffeeshop outings - Weekdays 10am to 12.30pm or 4pm to 6.30pm (tentative)

Join TOUCH Community Services as a volunteer in their efforts to care for the frail elderly in the community.

1. Meals-on-Wheels programme - Deliver food to the frail elderly at their homes in the west (Jurong/ Bukit Batok) from 3.30pm to 6.30pm daily. 

2. Medical Befriender* - Accompany the elderly for their medical appointment. 

*Exact time commitment required varies depending on needs of beneficiary.

Community Chest Fú Dài 2019 is an annual signature event that galvanises the people, private and public sectors to come together to spread festive joy to the less fortunate.

Join as a volunteer to show your care and support to pack Fú Dài for over 6,000 seniors and families, spreading the joy further and wider throughout our community.

A Fú Dài can bring a smile to lonely seniors who live alone, and encourage families going through challenging times.

Project Silver Screen was launched on 19 Sep 2018 by Ministry of Health and Temasek Foundation Cares. CapitaLand Hope Foundation is a donor for this pilot programme, which brings functional screening to senior citizens over the age of 60, to help them stay healthy and age well to enjoy better quality of life in their silver years.

Volunteer with Agency for Integrated Care to reach out to the elderly, understanding their needs and encourage them to sign up for free functioning screening that includes checks on the ears, eyes and mouth.

1. Support to Silver Generation Ambassador (Recorder Role*) - Group volunteering to be paired with an ambassador to visit the elderly at their homes and register them for functional screenig - at least 5 hours.

2. Community Befriender - Visit the elderly who live alone on a regular basis - at least 2 visits and 2 phone calls every month.

3. Onsite Volunteer for functional screening - Engaging and guilding the elderly through various screening stations - at least half day.
