Did you know?

Colouring has therapeutic potential to reduce stress and anxiety, create focus or bring about a greater level of mindfulness. Just like meditation, colouring allows us to switch off our brains from other thoughts and focus only on the moment, helping to alleviate free-floating anxiety, not ruminating about the past or worrying about the future.

Colouring not only trains the motor skills and creativity of children, it calms children with anxiety and helps them to improve their focus as well!

The outbreak of COVID-19 may be stressful. Fear and anxiety about the uncertainty can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children, and could take a toll on people's mental health. Coping with stress will make you, the people you care about, and your community stronger.

Let’s get ready our art tools and work towards better mental wellbeing amidst the current health situation!
