Our beneficiaries are from Rainbow Centre’s Special Education Schools at two campuses – Margaret Drive and Yishun Park – for students aged 7-18 years old. The school serves infants, children and youths with a diverse range of developmental and learning needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and multiple disabilities, which may involve a combination of intellectual, physical, visual and/or hearing impairments.
Yes, we welcome tenant companies to join us in Gifts of Joy to either adopt wishes or send in volunteers as part of your company’s CSR activity! Please email us at email@example.com and we will connect with you.
Our donors are encouraged to make time to identify and purchase the wish item from retailers to allow for a more meaningful experience. Moreover, delivery dates of items ordered online may also be less predictable.
Donors are encouraged to give within their means and also to allow for others to participate in this meaningful activity. Importantly and as every wish matters, please help us follow through on our commitment to bring Gifts of Joy to our beneficiaries.
You will receive instructions on where to deposit your gift. They will be at one of the following locations –Asia Square Tower 2, CapitaGreen, Capital Tower, One George Street, Raffles City Tower and Six Battery Road from 1 October to 26 October 2018. The gifts should come unwrapped.
The children are students at Rainbow Centre, Margaret Drive and Yishun Park and range from 7-18 years old. Volunteers will be working with students with developmental disabilities or multiple disabilities, which may include a combination of intellectual, physical, visual and/or hearing impairments.
This activity is suitable for first-timers and no prior experience is needed. Volunteers must be willing to commit to assist with the tasks assigned. A briefing will also be conducted for volunteers to give information about the activity as well as equip and educate them about working with children with special needs.
