Further Easing of Community Measures

(From 26 April 2022)

As the COVID-19 situation in Singapore has improved, the nation is able to take the next step towards living with COVID-19 by easing the community Safe Management Measures. These measures are in place to allow us to progressively resume our social and economic activities.

Group Sizes

There will no longer be a group size limit. Individuals will not be required to keep to a group of 10 persons for mask-off activities.

Safe Distancing

Safe distancing will no longer be required between individuals or between groups.

Mask-Wearing

Mask-wearing will continue to be required in indoor settings when people leave their homes, including on public transport, but will remain optional in outdoor settings but encouraged in crowded outdoor areas.

Stepping down on the use of TraceTogether (TT) and SafeEntry (SE)

Check in using TT application or token is no longer required. However, Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) is required at entry for

  • F&B establishments*
  • Events with > 500 participants
  • Nightlife establishments which involve dancing among patrons

*Random spot-checks will be conducted to ensure that only fully vaccinated persons are dining in at F&B establishments.

Any unvaccinated child aged 12 years and below (i.e. born in or after 2010) can be included within a group. These children need not be from the same household.

Find out more here.

What is TraceTogether(TT) app?

TraceTogether is a technological solution to combat the spread of COVID-19 via contact tracing. All travellers will be required to utilise the TraceTogether app, or rent a TraceTogether token during their stay in Singapore.

Prior to arriving in Singapore, travellers should check that their mobile devices are compatible with the TraceTogether app, download it on their mobile devices, and register their mobile number and profile on the app. Travellers must register their profile on the app with the same identification number, nationality and date of birth as those shown in the passport that they are using to enter Singapore.

A TraceTogether App setup guide for travellers can be found here.
