Safe Management Measures


As the COVID-19 situation in Singapore has improved, the nation is able to take the next step towards living with COVID-19 by easing the community Safe Management Measures. 

Mask-Wearing

Mask-wearing is optional, except when in healthcare facilities (E.g TCM, Specialist, GP, Dental Clinics, COVID-19 testing centres), and public transport.

Shoppers are encouraged to exercise responsibility and caution, such as wearing masks when in crowded places or feeling unwell.

Group Sizes

There will no longer be a group size limit.

Safe Distancing

Safe distancing will no longer be required between individuals or between groups.

Stepping down on the use of TraceTogether (TT) and SafeEntry (SE)

Check in using TT application or token and Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) are no longer required

Should your employees or visitors display fever, flu-like or respiratory symptoms (e.g. cough, runny nose), please visit a Public Health Preparedness Clinic (PHPC) to seek medical care immediately. Affected personnel should commute to the clinic using private hire cars or taxis, but not public transport (buses or MRT).

Antigen Rapid Test (ART) Self-test Kits

Antigen Rapid Test (ART) self-test kits are made available to be purchased over the counter for individuals who are worried that they may have COVID-19 and want to put their mind at ease.

ART screens for SARS-CoV-2, a virus that causes COVID-19. It is a quick screening tool to pick up any possible infection early. The test is easy to do and safe, taking only less than 20 minutes.
