Audio-Technica was established in 1962 with our founder, Hideo Matsushita's vison to deliver high-quality audio products at an affordable price so that many people could simply enjoy good sound. As a transducer designer, manufacturer and innovator, Audio-Technica followed the natural path and expanded into developing headphones and microphones for both consumer and professional users. We grew from a humble small beginning in Shinjuku, Japan to the U.S.A. and finally reaching out to Europe and Asia, to become a truly international corporation.
