Partner Programmes

The Singapore Science Park, as a receptacle catalyzing economic transformation, is the location where CapitaLand collaborates with strategic partners to establish a world-class technology and entrepreneurship community.

Building a Deep Technology Hub with NUS Enterprise

Leveraging on the proximity to the National University of Singapore (NUS), CapitaLand is partnering with NUS Enterprise to develop a Deep Technology Hub in Singapore Science Park I, which is envisioned to bring together a thriving ecosystem of growth stage companies, large corporations, technology accelerators, academic partners and agencies.

Since Dec 2016, NUS Enterprise has set up its community space, NUS Enterprise @ Singapore Science Park, which hosts a demo deck to develop small prototypes, start-up incubator facilities and an event venue. The Deep Technology Hub will focus on catalysing industry-academia collaborations in the fields of Connected Devices, Future Health and Environmental Solutions and develop the Singapore Science Park as the base for corporate innovation.

This “Academia + Industry” partnership harnesses the strengths of both partners. CapitaLand provides the network to global corporations, access to overseas markets, and a physical space to anchor and co-locate this community, while NUS Enterprise provides its cutting-edge research and repository of intellectual property, technology, start-ups and talent. The collaboration also focuses on building deep technology hardware-focused innovations by facilitating prototyping and enabling commercialisation through the NUS Innovation Access Programme.
