Jonathan Yap is Chief Executive Officer of CapitaLand Development (CLD), the development arm of CapitaLand Group, one of Asia’s largest diversified real estate groups. As CEO, he guides the CLD leadership team in scaling up CapitaLand’s development capabilities across diverse sectors in its core markets as the company capitalises on real estate opportunities fuelled by megatrends.

Jonathan has more than 30 years of experience in real estate across Asia. Before his appointment as CEO of CLD on 5 June 2023, Jonathan was with CapitaLand Investment (CLI), the listed real estate investment management business of CapitaLand Group. He last held the position of CEO, Listed Funds, responsible for driving the growth and management of CLI’s listed funds platform, its asset operating platforms in Singapore and Malaysia as well as its India business.

Jonathan joined CapitaLand Group in July 2019 after the company combined with Ascendas-Singbridge (ASB). As President of CapitaLand Financial, he oversaw the Group’s listed and private funds as well as its India business. Jonathan was key in steering the growth strategies of CapitaLand’s listed funds, including REIT mergers and mandate refinements.

Jonathan was the Chief Operating Officer and Group Chief Financial Officer of ASB from 2017, before which he served concurrently as the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Real Estate Funds of ASB since ASB’s inception via a merger of Ascendas and Singbridge in 2015. Before ASB, Jonathan was with the Ascendas Group since 2004, where he held several leadership roles including Assistant Group CEO (Funds and India) and CEO of India.

Prior to Ascendas, Jonathan was with Lendlease, Tan Chong Realty and Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management (Honours) and a Master of Science in Project Management from the National University of Singapore.

Ronald Tay is Chief Executive Officer of CapitaLand Development (Singapore). He is responsible for CapitaLand Development’s businesses across all asset classes in Singapore.

Prior to his current role, Ronald was CEO, CapitaLand Development (Vietnam). He held several appointments in CapitaLand Group previously, including CEO, CapitaLand Singapore (Malaysia & Indonesia), and CEO, Ascott Residence Trust Management Limited. He spearheaded the overall strategic planning and led the implementation of the business, investment and operational strategies in the markets and entities under his leadership. 

Ronald joined CapitaLand Group in 2001 and has an all-rounded understanding of the Group’s business, from capital market, development, investment to asset management. He began his career in the banking industry where he took on various positions in Corporate & Investment Banking.

Ronald holds a Bachelor of Business (Honours) from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Ben Lee is Chief Executive Officer of CapitaLand Development (China). He is responsible for CapitaLand Development’s businesses in China across all asset classes.

Prior to joining CapitaLand Development, Ben was the Chief Operating Officer of Keppel Land. He joined Keppel Land in 2007 and held various senior appointments in China including roles in business development and operations. He was appointed President, China of Keppel Land in March 2016.

Ben has close to 30 years of international real estate development experience, including nearly 20 years in China. He has a proven track record in driving strong business growth and has a deep knowledge of the China market as well as an extensive business network. For his exceptional contributions in China, Ben was awarded the Magnolia Award by the Shanghai Municipal Government in 2019.

Ben holds a Master of Finance from the Western Sydney University and a Bachelor of Science (Major in Building) from the National University of Singapore.  He has also completed a Senior Executive Leadership Program - China at Harvard Business School.

Tan Wee Hsien is Chief Executive Officer of CLD Vietnam & International, where he oversees CLD’s businesses in Vietnam across all asset classes. He is also responsible for driving CLD’s expansion into new markets, to broaden the company’s portfolio beyond Singapore, China, and Vietnam. 

Before taking on his current role as CEO of CLD Vietnam, Wee Hsien was CEO of New Business and Strategic Planning, where he also led the company’s sustainability initiatives.

Prior to joining CLD in 2022, he was Director & Head of Development Property, South Asia at Hongkong Land, and concurrently held the position of CEO at MCL Land. Wee Hsien joined Hongkong Land in 2007, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s residential and development property portfolio in Southeast Asia.

Earlier in his career, Wee Hsien was the Head of Property at Great Eastern Holdings, overseeing Pan-Asia real estate investments, including direct assets and private equity investments. He has also held various roles at Jones Lang Lasalle and Ascendas, contributing to the development of his expertise in the real estate sector.

With more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, Wee Hsien brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, particularly in the development sector across Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Wee Hsien holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Estate Management from the National University of Singapore.

Goh Ah Moi is Chief Development Officer of CapitaLand Development and is responsible for the company’s project development and management function in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. She also provides thought leadership in support of the company’s development strategy across all markets under the Centre of Excellence function.

Prior to this appointment, Moi was the Chief Development Officer, Singapore and International, CapitaLand Group. Moi has been with the company for 16 years, spending her first 11 years in project management as well as operation roles as part of the company’s retail business within the CapitaLand Group.  

Moi holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University of Technology, United Kingdom and Master of Science (Civil Engineering) from the National University of Singapore.

Chin Yean Cheng is Chief Financial Officer of CapitaLand Development. She oversees the functions of financial accounting and reporting, treasury and taxation.

Yean Cheng was previously the General Manager of CLA Real Estate Holdings Pte. Ltd., where she oversaw the company’s corporate functions and asset management. Prior to that, she held various asset, investment and fund management positions at Ascendas-Singbridge. She was Senior Vice President, Investments and Capital Partners, supporting the company’s investments and portfolio management. She was also with the company’s two listed trusts, as General Manager, Portfolio Management (China) for Ascendas Reit; and Vice President, Asset & Investment Management for Ascendas India Trust, where she was responsible for operational performance of properties and for executing the Trusts’ investment strategies.

Yean Cheng has more than 20 years of real estate experience and has lived and worked in China, Thailand and Malaysia. Yean Cheng holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.

Tony Tan is the Chief Corporate Officer of CapitaLand Development (CLD), where he oversees the corporate functions of Human Resources, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Communications. He also drives the Strategic Planning and Sustainability functions for CLD, shaping the company’s long-term direction and commitment to sustainable development. Tony concurrently holds the appointment of Executive Director of CapitaLand Hope Foundation, the philanthropic arm of CapitaLand Group, where he leads efforts to amplify the Group’s social impact. 

Before taking on his current roles, Tony held multiple senior leadership positions within the CapitaLand Group. Notably, he served as the CEO of CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust and the CEO of CapitaLand Retail China Trust Management Limited. 

With almost 15 years of leadership experience in the Singapore REITs sector, Tony has successfully led two major Singapore REITs. He has amassed over 30 years of experience in international treasury, finance, and risk management, contributing to his expertise in corporate governance and strategic management. In 2023, he was awarded the Investors’ Choice Outstanding CEO Award by the Securities Investors Association (Singapore), in recognition for his competency, integrity, excellent communication, good corporate governance, and strong financial performance.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration (Distinction) from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.

Michelle Koh is General Counsel of CapitaLand Development, responsible for the delivery of legal and corporate secretariat functions, working in close partnership with all business and functional leaders.  

Michelle joined CapitaLand in 2000 as a legal counsel after five years in law practice. Prior to joining CLD in 2025, Michelle was General Counsel of CapitaLand Limited from 2013 and subsequently General Counsel of CapitaLand Investment (CLI) following the restructuring of CapitaLand Group in 2021.

As General Counsel of CLI, Michelle led and managed the in-house legal department. In addition, she was part of the leadership team involved in and contributed to corporate governance for CLI. This included supporting the effectiveness of the Board and its committees, and facilitating interaction between the Board and management in reporting CLI’s performance and key decisions. 

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of London. She was admitted to the Singapore Roll of Advocates and Solicitors in 1995 and is also a member of the State Bar of California, USA, since 2006.
