Paul Toussaint

Managing Director, Australia

Paul oversees CapitaLand Investment’s (CLI) commercial property platform in Australia and is responsible for the strategy, execution & growth of the business, including managing mandates for CLI’s listed and unlisted property vehicles as well as balance sheet investments.

Under Paul’s leadership, CLI’s AUM in Australia has more than tripled from A$1.2 billion in 2017, managing over 40 office and logistics assets, including assets currently under construction.

Sebastian Ugarte

Head of Investment & Business Development

Sebastian oversees CapitaLand Investment’s (CLI) Business Development team in Australia and is responsible for the origination and execution of real estate investments for CLI’s listed and private property vehicles as well as other balance sheet investments.

Sebastian has more than 20 years’ experience across real estate investment, fund management, real estate advisory and structured finance.

Greg Long

Head of Asset Management

Greg oversees CapitaLand Investment’s (CLI) Asset Management function and leads an asset management team in setting and executing asset strategies in line with the fund-level strategies for CLI’s listed and unlisted vehicles as well as balance sheet investments. Greg is responsible for maintaining a best-in-class asset management platform and all external agency appointments including property, facilities and capital management, leasing and all other portfolio management responsibilities.​

Greg has over 20 years’ senior leadership experience in the United Kingdom and Australia, in property, asset and investment management both in-agency and for a variety of institutional landlords, predominantly in commercial and industrial asset classes. ​

Neil Cannon

Senior Director, Private Funds

Neil is a Senior Director in Private Equity Real Assets at CapitaLand Investment (CLI). Neil leads the management of CLI’s Australian investor relationships and assists in the development of Australian investment products.

Neil has over 13 years’ experience in investment banking, capital markets and real estate in Australia and Asia Pacific.

Dan Mclean

Senior Director, Private Funds

Dan oversees CapitaLand’s Private Credit business in Australia where he is responsible for the origination, execution, and management of private credit investments. Dan has over 20 years’ experience in real estate finance, debt & equity capital markets and corporate finance advisory in Australia and Europe. He has previously worked at HSBC, Macquarie Bank, National Australia Bank and Ernst & Young.

Kien Tran

Head of Finance

Kien oversees CapitaLand Investment's (CLI) Finance team in Australia where he is responsible for all finance, tax, treasury and reporting matters for CapitaLand’s listed and private property vehicles as well as balance sheet investments.

Kien has over 20 years’ experience in finance within the real estate and funds management industry. Since commencing at CapitaLand in 2018, Kien has also been responsible for advising and structuring over A$2.0 billion in new investments and divestments within CapitaLand’s Australian business.

Clay Bennett-Bremner

Head of Asset Management Lodging

Clay oversees the CapitaLand Ascott Trust lodging portfolio in Australia and is responsible for driving commercial performance and improving asset values from the lodging assets.

Clay has over 20 years' experience in the hotel industry working in multiple countries and hotels covering different styles of hotels. He has worked at Starwood Hotels and Resorts, IHG and M&L Hospitality.
