Terms & Conditions
1.1 Weekend Treats (the “Promotions”) is exclusive to members of CapitaStar Rewards (referred to as “Eligible Shoppers”). Shoppers can download the CapitaStar mobile applications and sign up within the App as a member to qualify and participate in these Promotions. The Rewards in these Promotions are only awarded for the qualifying spends at Bukit Panjang Plaza during the Promotion Period (as defined herein below) as shown in the table in Clause 1.4 below.
1.2 The Promotions are organised by CapitaLand Retail Management Pte Ltd (“Organiser”) and shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”).
1.3 The promotion period (“Promotion Period”) is from 2 Dec 2023 to 3 Mar 2024, both dates inclusive.
1.4 The Promotion mechanics are as follows:
1.4.1 Eligible Shoppers must spend the minimum transactional value (“Qualifying Spend”) at participating stores in the participating CapitaLand Malls to receive the relevant amount of STAR$® (“Rewards”) as shown in the table below.

F&B stores at Bukit Panjang Plaza
1.4.2 For Weekend Treats promotion, Eligible Shoppers can submit their receipts with a minimum transactional value of Singapore Dollars Ten (S$10) or more in a single receipt which have been made at the Participating Stores on the same day (“Eligible Transaction/Receipt”) to qualify for the STAR$® Reward.
Eligible Shoppers will be awarded 50 STAR$® for every S$1 spent when they make the minimum spend of S$10 in a single receipt at the participating F&B stores in Bukit Panjang Plaza. This promotion is limited to the first 100 approved receipts scan per day.
1.5 The STAR$® Reward is limited to the first 100 redemptions per day based on a first-come first-served basis. Redemption of the Rewards are subject to availability at Bukit Panjang Plaza, while stocks last.
1.6 The Organiser may at any time and without notice in its sole and absolute discretion and without assigning any reason, substitute any Reward with any other item of a similar or greater value.
1.7 Only receipts snapped and uploaded to the CapitaStar app on the same day of purchase will be accepted for the purpose of satisfying the Qualifying Spend.
For purchases made via eCapitaVoucher, Eligible Shoppers are still required to snap the receipts and upload to the CapitaStar app on the same day of purchase.
For purchases made via DBS payment mode – DBS/POSB Credit or Debit cards and DBS PayLah! (DBS PayLah! account must be linked to CapitaStar app), no scanning of receipt(s) is necessary. With regards to Weekend Treats Promotion, receipts with transactional value of less than Singapore Dollars Ten (S$10) shall not be accepted, for these Promotions, to be combined to satisfy the Qualifying Spend.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Eligible Transaction/ Receipt used to redeem the eVoucher can also be used for the purposes of satisfying the Qualifying Spend for the eCapitaVoucher at the same CapitaLand Malls.
1.8 The STAR$® Reward will be available for redemption through the CapitaStar app from 10am on each day of the Promotion Period. Eligible Receipts snapped and submitted through the CapitaStar app before 10am will not qualify for the Promotion. The STAR$® Reward will be automatically credited directly into the CapitaStar app of the Qualifying Eligible Member upon qualification of all Eligible Receipt(s) snapped and approved.
1.9 Eligible Shoppers can tap on “My Balance Summary” in the CapitaStar app to view the STAR$® Reward and the expiry date. The Organiser shall not be obliged to entertain any request to extend the validity of the STAR$®.
2.1 Without limiting the generality of the above, the following persons shall not be eligible for the Promotion:
a. employees of any retail tenants in the participating CapitaLand Malls; and
b. persons who the Organiser may decide to exclude at its discretion without notice and without providing any reason, at any time.
3. QUALIFYING SPEND
3.1 Only the total final amount paid as indicated on the tax invoice(s)/ receipt(s) issued by the participating store(s) will be accepted for the Promotions. NETS or credit/debit card transaction slips are not acceptable in place of original copies of shopping receipts.
Receipt(s) from non-participating stores, supermarkets, car grooming services, purchase of parking coupons, purchase or top up of Cashcard / stored value cards, purchase or top up of stores’ membership card, gift cards and vouchers (i.e. eCapitaVoucher or participating stores’ vouchers), AXS / SAM machines transactions and bill payments, purchase of lottery tickets, any transactions at pawn shops and money changer, bank and other financial institutions’ transactions and transactions from pushcarts and stalls at temporary roadshows at Bukit Panjang Plaza are not eligible for use as a receipt in these Promotions. For purchases of goods and services made by instalments, only the instalment receipt showing the value of the purchase(s) made on the same day of the redemption, will be eligible for use as a receipt in these Promotions for CapitaStar Rewards programme. Receipt(s) from deposit placements, order placements, and payments using tenant / credit card loyalty points will not be accepted for the purposes of these Promotions.
3.2 The Organiser may reject any tax invoice, receipts and/or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive.
3.3 The Organiser reserves the right to verify all purchases made by the Eligible Shopper and the tax invoice(s)/ receipt(s) before processing the redemption of the STAR$® Reward in the Promotions.
4. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
4.1 Eligible Shoppers must snap the receipt(s) through their CapitaStar app on the same day of purchase during the Promotion Period and only approved receipt(s) will qualify for these Promotions.
4.2 The STAR$® Reward cannot be exchanged for cash and/or any other Reward or item and is subject to the relevant terms and conditions governing the use of STAR$®. Please refer to CapitaStar Policy & Terms.
4.3 By participating in this Promotion, the Member (CapitaStar members):
4.3.1 acknowledges and consents to the processing, collection, use and disclosure of his/ her Personal Data by the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related corporations including its holding company, CapitaLand Investment Limited (collectively, “CapitaLand Group”), and authorised agents, business partners and service providers in compliance with applicable data protection laws, regulations and guidelines to facilitate the administration of the Promotion including compliance with the Promotion Terms and Condition and that he/ she has read and agreed with the CapitaLand Group’s and Data Protection Policy available at https://www.capitaland.com/international/en/legal-notices/privacy-policy.html and may be amended, replaced, substituted from time to time.
4.3.2 agrees that the Organizer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, business partners and respective officers and employees shall not be liable for any actions, claims, demands, injuries, proceedings, liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses of any nature sustained by the member directly or indirectly by reason of or in connection with this Promotion. The member shall indemnify and keep the Organizer and its officers, servants, agents and employees ("the Indemnified Parties") fully indemnified against any and all loss, damage, demand, liability, claims, expenses and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered and/or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties as a result of the breach of any of the terms and conditions herein by the member. Members are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all the T&Cs set out herein, as well as any other requirements set out in any related promotional material, and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications there to as may be made from time to time.
4.4 Acceptance of any Reward shall constitute consent on the part of the Eligible Shopper to allow the use of his/ her name, image, voice and/or likeness by the Organizer for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.
4.5 All STAR$® Reward are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated.
4.6 The STAR$® shall be awarded on the presumption that the submitted tax invoice(s), receipt(s) and/ or charge slip(s) are original copies and valid. The Organiser may reject any tax invoice, receipt and/ or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive. In the event any tax invoice, receipt and/ or charge slip is rejected by the Organiser as invalid, the Organiser shall reserve the right to void the STAR$® awarded to the Eligible Shopper and recover the monetary value of the STAR$®.
4.7 The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in these Promotions reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdrawal or cancel this Promotion and/or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.
4.8 The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in these Promotions or redeemed by vouchers or gift certificates and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same.
4.9 By participating in these Promotions, the Eligible Shopper represents that he/she has read and agreed to these Promotion Terms and Conditions.
4.10 This Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and all participants in these Promotions irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts to resolve all disputes.
4.11 The Organizer's decision on all matters relating to the Promotions shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.
