1.    INTRODUCTION

1.1    First Dibs On Savings, Twice The Savings and Triple Thrills, Triple Savings (the “Promotions”) are exclusive to members of CapitaStar Rewards (referred to as “Eligible Shopper”). Shoppers can download the CapitaStar mobile application and sign up within the App as a member to qualify and participate in these Promotions. The Rewards in these Promotions are only awarded for the qualifying spends at IMM and Westgate during the Promotion Period (as defined herein below) as shown in the table in Clause 1.4 below.

1.2    The Promotions are organised by CapitaLand Retail Management Pte Ltd (“Organiser”) and shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”).

1.3    The promotion period (“Promotion Period”) is from 1 to 4 August 2024, both dates inclusive, from Thursday to Sunday.

1.4    The Promotion mechanics of the Promotions are as follows:

    1.4.1    Eligible Shoppers must spend the minimum transactional value (“Qualifying Spend”) at the merchants participating in these Promotions in IMM and Westgate (“Participating Stores”) to receive the relevant amount of eCapitaVoucher and eVoucher (“Rewards”) as shown in the table below.

    1.4.2    For Twice The Savings and Triple Thrills, Triple Savings Promotions, Eligible Shoppers are required to spend the minimum transactional value stated in Clause 1.4.1 of this Terms and Condition, which has been made at the Participating Stores on the same day (“Eligible Transaction/ Receipt”) to qualify for the eVoucher or eCapitaVoucher Reward with regards to Clause 3.2 of this Terms and Condition herein.

    1.4.3    For Triple Thrills, Triple Savings Promotion on 1 Aug, only receipts, charge slips and credit card presented at IMM Customer Service Counter on the same day of purchase will be accepted for the purpose of satisfying the Qualifying Spend. For Triple Thrills, Triple Savings from 2 to 4 Aug and Twice The Savings Promotions, only receipts snapped and uploaded to the CapitaStar App on the same day of purchase will be accepted for the purpose of satisfying the Qualifying Spend. For purchases made via eCapitaVoucher, Eligible Shoppers are still required to snap the receipts and upload to the CapitaStar app on the same day of purchase. For purchases made via DBS payment mode – DBS/POSB Credit or Debit cards and DBS PayLah! (DBS PayLah! account must be linked to CapitaStar app), no scanning of receipt(s) is necessary. Receipts with transactional value of less than Singapore Dollars Twenty (S$20) shall not be accepted, for these Promotions, to be combined to satisfy the Qualifying Spend.

    1.4.4    For First Dibs On Savings Promotion, each Member may redeem a maximum of one (1) set of eVoucher Reward throughout the promotional period. For Twice The Savings Promotion, each Member may redeem a maximum of one (1) eVoucher Reward per day per participating mall. For Triple Thrills, Triple Savings Promotion, each Member may redeem a maximum of one (1) eCapitaVoucher Reward per day per participating mall.

    1.4.5    For the avoidance of doubt, the Eligible Transaction/ Receipt used to redeem the eVoucher Reward can also be used to satisfy the Qualifying Spend for the eCapitaVoucher Reward at the same CapitaLand Malls.

1.5    For Twice The Savings and Triple Thrills, Triple Savings Promotions, the eVoucher and eCapitaVoucher Reward will be available for redemption through the CapitaStar App from 10am on each day of the Promotion Period. Eligible Receipts presented to IMM Customer Service Counter or snapped and submitted through the CapitaStar App before 10am will not qualify for the Promotion. The eCapitaVoucher and eVoucher Reward will be credited directly into the CapitaStar App of the Qualifying Eligible Member upon qualification of all Eligible Receipt(s) presented or snapped and approved.

1.6    The eCapitaVoucher Reward awarded under the Triple Thrills, Triple Savings Promotion will expire in three (3) months from the date of issuance. The eVoucher Reward awarded under the First Dibs On Savings and Twice The Savings Promotion shall expire after 4 August 2024 regardless of the date of qualification and issuance of the eVoucher Reward. Eligible Shoppers can tap on the “My Vouchers” tab from the CapitaStar App to view the Reward and the expiry date. The Organiser shall not be obliged to entertain any request to extend the validity of the eCapitaVoucher and/or the eVoucher Rewards.

1.7    The eCapitaVoucher Reward and eVoucher Reward in the Promotions are provided on a first-come, first-served basis and redemption of the respective Rewards is subject to availability at the respective participating CapitaLand Malls, while stocks last.

2.    ELIGIBILITY

2.1    Without limiting the generality of the above, the following persons shall not be eligible for the Promotion:

    a.   employees of any retail tenants in the participating CapitaLand Malls; and

    b.   persons who the Organiser may decide to exclude at its discretion without notice and without providing any reason, at any time.

2.2    The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any member who is found at any time (whether before or after the receipt of any eCapitaVoucher Reward or eVoucher Reward) to be in breach of the relevant eligibility or qualifying criteria. Any eCapitaVoucher Reward or eVoucher Reward awarded to any member may be forfeited, and if collected, shall be returned to the Organiser promptly and may be dealt with the Organiser’s sole discretion.

3.    QUALIFYING SPEND

3.1    Only the total final amount paid as indicated on the tax invoice(s)/ receipt(s) issued by the participating store(s) will be accepted for the Promotions. NETS or credit/debit card transaction slips are not acceptable in place of original copies of shopping receipts.

3.2    For Twice The Savings Promotion, receipts from all stores are eligible for use as qualifying receipts from both IMM and Westgate. For Triple Thrills, Triple Savings Promotion, receipts from all stores (except Food & Beverage Stores) are eligible for use as qualifying receipts for Westgate; receipts from all Outlet stores are eligible for use as qualifying receipts for IMM.

Notwithstanding Clause 1.4 of this Terms and Conditions hereinabove, receipt(s) from non-participating stores, car grooming services, SingPost transactions, purchase of parking coupons, purchase or top up of Cashcard / stored value cards, purchase or top up of stores’ membership card, gift cards and vouchers (i.e. eCapitaVouchers or participating stores’ vouchers), SISTIC transactions, AXS / SAM machines transactions and bill payments, purchase of lottery tickets, purchase of movie tickets and food and beverages at cinema, any transactions at pawn shops and money changer, bank and other financial institutions’ transactions and transactions from pushcarts and stalls at temporary roadshows at the participating CapitaLand Malls are not eligible for use as a receipt in these Promotions. For purchases of goods and services made by instalments, only the instalment receipt showing the value of the purchase(s) made on the same day of the redemption, will be eligible for use as a receipt in these Promotions for CapitaStar Rewards programme. Receipt(s) from deposit placements, order placements, and payments using tenant/credit card loyalty points will not be accepted for the purposes of these Promotions.

3.3    The Organiser may reject any tax invoice, receipts and/or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive.

3.4    The Organiser reserves the right to verify all purchases made by the Eligible Shopper and the tax invoice(s)/ receipt(s) before processing the redemption of the eCapitaVoucher Reward and eVoucher Reward in the Promotions.

3.5    Receipts shall be considered expended for the purposes of these Promotions and other promotions in the CapitaLand Mall when it is used to redeem the eCapitaVoucher Reward and eVoucher Reward. Same as provided for in these Terms and Conditions, receipts cannot be used for redemption of multiple eCapitaVoucher Reward and eVoucher Reward. Receipts cannot be used for redemption of more than one promotion at any CapitaLand Mall, but the Eligible Transaction/ Receipt used to redeem the eVoucher Reward can be used for the purposes of satisfying the Qualifying Spend for the eCapitaVoucher Reward at the respective participating CapitaLand Malls.

4.    GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

4.1    Eligible Shoppers must present their receipt(s), charge slips(s) and credit card to IMM Customer Service Counter or snap the receipt(s) through their CapitaStar App on the same day of purchase on 1 August 2024 and only approved receipt(s) will qualify for these Promotions.

4.2    Eligible Shoppers must snap the receipt(s) through their CapitaStar App on the same day of purchase from
2 to 4 August 2024 and only approved receipt(s) will qualify for these Promotions.

4.3    The eCapitaVoucher Reward and eVoucher Reward cannot be exchanged for different denominations and are subject to the relevant terms and conditions governing the use of the eCapitaVouchers. Please refer to eCapitaVouchers terms and conditions.

4.4    By participating in this Promotion, the Member (CapitaStar members):

    4.4.1    acknowledges and consents to the processing, collection, use and disclosure of his/ her Personal Data by the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related corporations including its holding company, CapitaLand Investment Limited (collectively, “CapitaLand Group”), and authorised agents, business partners and service providers in compliance with applicable data protection laws, regulations and guidelines to facilitate the administration of the Promotion including compliance with the Promotion Terms and Condition and that he/ she has read and agreed with the CapitaLand Group’s and Data Protection Policy available at https://www.capitaland.com/international/en/legal-notices/privacy-policy.html  and  may be amended, replaced, substituted from time to time.

    4.4.2    agrees that the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, business partners and respective officers and employees shall not be liable for any actions, claims, demands, injuries, proceedings, liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses of any nature sustained by the member directly or indirectly by reason of or in connection with this Promotion. The member shall indemnify and keep the Organiser and its officers, servants, agents and employees ("the Indemnified Parties") fully indemnified against any and all loss, damage, demand, liability, claims, expenses and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered and/or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties as a result of the breach of any of the terms and conditions herein by the member. Members are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all the T&Cs set out herein, as well as any other requirements set out in any related promotional material, and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications there to as may be made from time to time.

4.5    Acceptance of any Reward shall constitute consent on the part of the Eligible Shopper to allow the use of his/ her name, image, voice and/or likeness by the Organiser for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

4.6    All eCapitaVoucher Rewards and eVoucher Rewards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated.

4.7    The eCapitaVoucher Reward and eVoucher Reward shall be awarded on the presumption that the submitted tax invoice(s), receipt(s) and/ or charge slip(s) are original copies and valid. The Organiser may reject any tax invoice, receipt and/ or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive. In the event any tax invoice, receipt and/ or charge slip is rejected by the Organiser as invalid, the Organiser shall reserve the right to void the eCapitaVoucher Reward and/or eVoucher Reward awarded to the Eligible Shopper and recover the monetary value of the eCapitaVoucher Reward and/or eVoucher Reward.

4.8    The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in these Promotions reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdrawal or cancel this Promotion and/or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.

4.9    The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in these Promotions or redeemed by vouchers or gift certificates and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same.

4.10    By participating in these Promotions, the Eligible Shopper represents that he/she has read and agreed with this Promotion Terms and Conditions.

4.11    This Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and all participants in these Promotions irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts to resolve all disputes.

4.12    The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotions shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.

4.13    Information stated in this Promotion’s Terms and Condition is correct at the time printing and is subject to change without prior notice.

1.    What are the participating malls?

IMM and Westgate are the participating malls.

2.    How much do I have to spend to take part in the promotions?

Eligible Shoppers must spend the minimum transactional value at participating stores in the participating CapitaLand Malls as shown in the table below (“Qualifying Spend”) to receive eCapitaVoucher or eVoucher (“Reward”).

3.    How do I participate in the promotions?

For Triple Thrills, Triple Savings Promotion on 1 Aug, only receipt(s), charge slip(s) and credit card presented at IMM Customer Service Counter on the same day of purchase will be accepted for the purpose of satisfying the Qualifying Spend.

For Triple Thrills, Triple Savings and Twice The Savings Promotions from 2 to 4 Aug, only receipts snapped and uploaded to the CapitaStar App on the same day of purchase will be accepted for the purpose of satisfying the Qualifying Spend. Strictly no scanning of receipts at the Customer Service Counter. All Eligible Shoppers must download the CapitaStar App, sign up as a CapitaStar member and snap their same day, same-mall receipt(s) on the same day of purchase via the CapitaStar App from 10am during the Promotion Period to receive the rewards. Only Approved receipts will qualify for the promotions, available on a while-stocks-last basis.

4.      Where is the IMM Customer Service Counter located, and what is the operating hours?

The IMM Customer Service Counter is located at Level 1, near Lobby A. It operates daily from 10am to 10pm.

5.      Am I guaranteed to receive promotions rewards if I meet the above qualifying spending criteria in both malls?

No, redemptions are based on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

6.      If I spend in both malls within the same day and meet the spending criteria for respective malls, will I receive Promotion rewards from both malls?

Yes, you will be eligible to redeem the rewards from both malls if you meet the minimum spending per mall and are subject to the availability of stocks. Strictly no combination of spending across the two malls.

7.      Can I participate in more than one promotion simultaneously?

Yes, you can participate in multiple promotions as long as you meet the qualifying criteria for each promotion during the Promotion Period.

8.      Can I combine my receipts from multiple stores to qualify for redemption?

Yes, Eligible Shoppers can combine same-day, same-mall receipt(s) and snap the receipts on the same day of purchase via the CapitaStar App during the Promotion Period to receive the rewards, while stocks last.

9.      Is there a cap to the number of receipts a member can submit to be eligible for the Promotion rewards?

There is no cap to the number of receipts. However, the purchases of the combined receipt(s) must be on the same-day, and at the same mall with a minimum spend of $20 per receipt to be eligible for the rewards.

10.   If I combined receipts from 2 different malls to meet the minimum spending criteria, will I receive the Promotion rewards?

No, a combination of receipts from different malls is not allowed. Eligible shoppers can only combine same-day, same mall receipts and snap the receipt(s) on the same day of purchase via the CapitaStar App from 10am during the Promotion Period to receive the rewards, while stocks last.

11.   What happens if I make a qualifying purchase but forget to scan it via my CapitaStar App?

To receive the rewards, you must scan your CapitaStar App at the time of purchase. If you forget to scan, your purchase may not be eligible for the Promotions.

12.   Do I still need to snap in my receipts if I have linked my CapitaStar account to DBS PayLah!?

No, members who have linked their CapitaStar account on DBS PayLah! and transacted with DBS payment modes do not have to snap their receipts on the CapitaStar App. For members who still proceed to snap their receipts, the receipts will be rejected to avoid double rewards.

13.   Do I still need to keep my receipts after scanning them into the CapitaStar App?

Yes, it is advisable to keep your receipts as proof of purchase in case there are any issues with your rewards or transaction history.

14.   Can I qualify for the Promotion rewards if I pay with eCapitaVoucher via the CapitaStar App?

Yes, you can qualify for all promotions during the Promotion Period if you pay with eCapitaVoucher via the CapitaStar App. For purchases made via eCapitaVoucher, Eligible Shoppers are still required to snap the receipts and upload to the CapitaStar App on the same day of purchase. However, please note that for the Triple Thrills, Triple Savings Promotion on 1 Aug, only Mastercard payments is allowed.

15.   If my receipts are rejected, what should I do?

16.   What is the validity period of my Promotion rewards?

The eVoucher awarded from First Dibs On Savings and Twice The Savings Promotions will be valid from 1 to 4 August 2024. The eCapitaVoucher awarded from Triple Thrills, Triple Savings Promotion will be valid for three months from the date of issuance.

17.   Where can I utilize the eVoucher received from the First Dibs On Savings and Twice The Savings Promotions at IMM or Westgate?

You may utilize the eVoucher at participating stores only. Please refer to Annex A and B of the Terms and Conditions for the list of participating stores.

18.   What receipts are eligible for the Triple Thrills, Triple Savings Promotion?

All receipt(s) from Outlet Stores at IMM and all stores excluding (Food & Beverage stores) at Westgate are eligible for this Promotion. Please refer to Annex B and C of the Terms and Conditions for the list of participating stores.

19.   Are there any specific stores within IMM and Westgate where purchases do not qualify for the Promotion rewards?

Some stores within IMM and Westgate may be excluded from the Promotions. Please refer to Annex A to C of the Terms and Conditions for the list of participating stores.

20.   How soon will the eCapitaVoucher be credited?

The eCapitaVoucher will be credited within 10 minutes upon receipt(s) Approval. However, do note that receipt Approval may take up to 24 hours.

21.   What should I do if my rewards are not credited to my CapitaStar account?

If your rewards are not credited, please contact us with your CapitaStar Member ID, receipt(s) details and transaction information for assistance.

22.   Can I return or exchange items purchased during the Promotion Period?

Returns and exchanges are subject to the policies of the individual stores

23.   Are there any restrictions on how I can use my Promotion rewards?

Rewards may have specific usage restrictions. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for details on how rewards can be used.

24.   Can I transfer my Promotion rewards to another CapitaStar member?

Rewards are non-transferable and must be used by the account holder who made the qualifying purchase.
