1. Scare yourself
The lights are off. A strong gust of wind hits the coffee table. In the living room, you hear something fall to the floor. You sneak out hesitantly to check out what is happening. The room feels cold. By moonlight, you spot something at the corner of your eye.
It’s an envelope. You open it. It’s your electricity bill.
Stop scaring yourself every month. This Earth Hour make a personal pledge to save electricity.
ProTip: Standby power accounts for up to 10% of your electricity bill at home. Remember to switch off your appliances and equipment at the source when not in use.

5. Socialise. Not social media
How about throwing an Earth Hour gathering? Book a stay at one of our serviced residences and gather your friends for the evening. Anyone caught using their phones will be easily found out.
Pour out some wine (don’t spill it!) and really communicate and connect with each other. Earth Hour is all about how we are interconnected to one another and with the planet. It’s time to meditate on how we can make better choices in our lives, to treat ourselves better and treat the earth better.
