5 antibodies against HRTBRK-20
Your body develops the antibodies after it recovers from HRTBRK-20. You are ready to move on.
In this final installation of our four-part February special, it is time to stop holding on to the past. Get yourself ready to love again. ❤
You’ve religiously followed all the steps to properly grieve in the aftermath of your heartbreak. Maybe you’ve gone as far as to stake out at the places you used to hang out together, or even right where your ex lives (we perfectly understand; you don’t have to feel sheepish about your stalkerish behaviour.) But now that small voice in your head is telling you: Enough is enough. It’s about time you pick yourself up, and about time to move on. And perhaps, even find love all over again.
So this time, it’s not about anyone else, but you. How do you get yourself ready for love again? INSIDE offers some tips on a scale of self-care to self-indulgent. We are here to say – you do YOU. Look up, look out and get yourself out – and don’t forget to bring your hand sanitiser and a mask along!
1. The world's your stage - live it, love it, laugh it off!
“All the world’s a stage and all the men and women merely players” – Remember these wise words from the theatre maestro William Shakespeare when you feel like you are spiralling downwards. The world’s your stage, and we don’t mean it metaphorically when you can walk the talk and catch the comic masterpiece “The Importance of Being Ernest” by WILD RICE at Funan! Get ready some tissue (best if from the single guy/lady sitting next to you) to wipe off those tears of joy with this award-winning production written by Oscar Wilde. They say laughter makes you more attractive. We couldn’t agree more.

2. Living Space = Mind Space
That sock in the wardrobe and your ex's cup still in the sink, even your Netflix playlist reminds you of your ex. We say out with the old and in with the new! Just like how ladies go through massive makeovers after every relationship, your living space probably needs one too. After catching a play at WILD RICE @ Funan, you are ready to move on. A skip and a hop away, Grafunkt will inspire you with their unique furniture pieces. Carefully curated and featuring more than 10 labels from Singapore and abroad, there is something for everyone. If you are getting a bulky piece, it wouldn’t hurt to ask for an extra pair of hands as well - helpful men/women are usually a great catch! Before hauling your goods home, rest your feet and sip a cup of coffee at Raf, a café set inside the furniture store. Because meatballs and chicken wings are too mainstream.

3. Get ready for a new phase (face) of life
Technically, you don’t really need a reason to indulge yourself. Pamper your face to smooth out those crinkles between your eyebrows from all the frowning that you did when your were with your ex. Or simply enjoy a soothing massage after that nerve wracking breakup. Nothing screams #payback more than a radiant-looking you! What’s more, you can now enjoy free parking after 6pm at our malls!
4. You don't have to live life on thin ice - just let it go!
When you cannot conquer your love life, trying calling out to your inner Elsa and conquer the ice rink instead. Let it go and enjoy that ice cold air in your face as you skate past those lovebirds who are desperately holding on to each other for balance.
But if it’s your first time wearing those skates and there’s no one to hold on to, you won’t be going into the unknown with the skating aids available on standby! Nothing feels more empowering than depending on yourself when picking up a new skill!
We also hear that ice hockey players and figure skaters are a sight to behold, so remember to check out their timetables before heading down to the rink! *winks*
5. Inner peace comes from within. Yes it is time to move on and love yourself
Embrace mother nature - take in the smell of soil and feel the grass beneath your feet when you sign up for a barefoot sunset yoga class held at Funan’s rooftop garden. We can almost hear it… (yoga instructor goes:) "Release all negativity and unhappy thoughts from your mind and remember only the good ones. Feel the weight lifting off your shoulders."
You feel lighter, mentally and spiritually (but not physically ☹). Namaste.
That’s it folks! We hope you’ve enjoyed our INSIDE love story! Stay tuned for more juicy stories from our juicy team!
