CapitaLand and its wholly owned serviced residents Ascott are very active in CSR events. From the beginning of this year 2016, they organized so many activities. In the North, we launched a computer lab to improve the educational opportunities of almost 400 children at Yen Loc A Primary School, in Y Yen, Nam Dinh City. We have managed to set up an IT room for children use, carry out general cleaning, furniture vanishing and provide school supplies. In the South, we embarked in the charity trip to Can Gio District (75km from Ho Chi Minh City) to spread the festive cheer to 85 children (half of them are disable) at Thanh Tam Orphanage Home.

Recently, CapitaLand announces to build the third Hope School in Vietnam for this year. We have visited and continued our support to our two existing Hope Schools in Phu Tho province and in Long An province.

For its sustainability efforts, CapitaLand was this year listed for the fifth year running in the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World, recognised as the gold standard in corporate sustainability analysis; and for the second year running in The Sustainability Yearbook 2016 with a ‘Bronze Class’ distinction, placing it in the top five among real estate companies worldwide.
