Your healthy work day starts here!
It’s been proven that we tend to be more productive when we are healthy and stress-free. The Central Business District isn’t the only place that has amenities and other opportunities to help you stay in shape and feel energised on the job.
Leading a balanced lifestyle shouldn’t stop just because you’re at work. Incorporating healthier habits to your daily routine can do wonders to your overall well-being in the long run. Working around 80 Bendemeer Road, Techview or Techlink? Here is our guide to eating well and staying fit in between meetings and deadlines, and even after work.
EAT WELL
Eating clean is not as intimidating as it sounds, with more eateries increasingly offering healthier options for diners. Here are our recommendations.

While Compound Coffee Co.’s main business is in coffee research and experimentation, the cafe also has light bites. Located near the lobby at Techlink, Compound Coffee Co. serves crowd favourites that are also nutritious, like avocado toast, smoked salmon croissant, salads, and salmon and beef bowls. The trendy café is also within a short stroll if your office is situated at Techview.
Hawker centres and food centres
Thanks to the Health Promotion Board’s Healthier Dining Programme (HDP), food stalls now offer options like less oil, low sugar, wholegrain rice and low calorie dishes – just look out for the HDP decal at the stalls! Some healthier meal options: rice noodles in clear soup instead of fried, dry or gravy options, fresh fish noodles, wonton noodles and yong tau foo. Choose steamed, braised, roasted or stir-fried dishes instead of deep-fried ones and for dessert, cheng tng and soya bean curd with less sugar syrup are perfect.
The Food Pavilion
31 Kaki Bukit Road 3, #02-01 Techlink, Singapore 417818
Just around the corner from Techview, The Food Pavilion is a fully air-conditioned food centre at Techlink that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is also home to a branch of the well-established Tian Wai Tian fish head steamboat, known to serve one of the best Teochew fish head steamboats in the country.
Simmered over charcoal for hours, the hot broth is addictive, savoury, and comes with a generous serving of fresh ingredients. Aside from its signature dish, Tian Wai Tian is also famous for its wide selection of zi char items, with healthier options such as the delectable Fu Yong omelette and Braised Beancurd with Minced Pork.
