    1.       INTRODUCTION

    1.1        Shop To The Top (the “Promotion”) is exclusive to members of CapitaStar Rewards (referred to as “Eligible Shopper”). Shoppers can download the CapitaStar mobile application and sign up within the App as a member to qualify and participate in this Promotion. The Rewards in this Promotion are only awarded for the qualifying spends at IMM during the Promotion Period (as defined herein below) as shown in the table in Clause 1.4 below.

    1.2        The Promotion is organised by CapitaLand Retail Management Pte Ltd (“Organiser”) and shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”).

    1.3        The promotion period (“Promotion Period”) is from 15 March to 30 April 2024, both dates inclusive (excluding Public Holidays).

    1.4       The promotion mechanics are as follows:

    1.4.1     Eligible Shoppers must spend the minimum transactional value (“Qualifying Spend”) at participating stores in the participating CapitaLand Mall to receive a Mission Stamp with a fixed reward (“Game Reward”) or eCapitaVoucher (“eCV Reward”) as shown in the table below.

    1.4.2          Eligible Shoppers must submit their receipt with a transactional value of minimum S$80 or more in a single transaction for Missions 1 to 4 and a transactional value of minimum S$120 in a single transaction for Mission 5 as shown in the table in Clause 1.4.1, which have been made at the Participating Stores on the same day (“Eligible Transaction/Receipt”) to qualify for the Game Reward. Limited to one (1) redemption per Eligible Shopper per day.

    1.4.3           For Top 10 Spenders Reward, the top 10 spenders who collect all 5 different mission stamps will stand to win S$500 as eCV Reward

    • Members will be notified in writing by email / CapitaStar in-app notification.
    • The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any Reward Winner subsequently found to be ineligible or disqualified from the Promotion.
    • The Organiser may at any time and without notice in its sole and absolute discretion and without assigning any reason, substitute any eCV Reward with any other item of a similar or greater value.

    1.4.4          Only receipts snapped and uploaded to the CapitaStar app on the same day of purchase will be accepted for the purpose of satisfying the Qualifying Spend. For purchases made via eCapitaVoucher, Eligible Shoppers are still required to snap the receipts and upload to the CapitaStar app on the same day of purchase. For purchases made via DBS payment mode – DBS/POSB Credit or Debit cards and DBS PayLah! (DBS PayLah! account must be linked to CapitaStar app), no scanning of receipt(s) is necessary. Receipts with transactional value of less than S$80 for Mission 1 to 4 and S$120 for Mission 5 as shown in the table in Clause 1.4.1 shall not be accepted, for this Promotion, to be combined to satisfy the Qualifying Spend.

    1.5       The eCapitaVoucher will be automatically credited directly into the CapitaStar app of the Qualifying Eligible Member upon qualification of all Eligible Receipt(s) snapped and approved.

    1.6       The eCV Rewards awarded will expire in three months from the date of issuance. Eligible Shoppers can tap on the “My Vouchers” tab from the CapitaStar app to view the Reward and the expiry date. The Organiser shall not be obliged to entertain any request to extend the validity of the eCV Rewards.

    1.7       The eCV Rewards in the Promotion are provided on a first-come, first-served basis and redemption of the eCapitaVoucher are subject to availability at the respective participating CapitaLand Malls, while stocks last.

    1.8       eCV Rewards will not be credited to the account of the Eligible Shopper if the value of eCapitaVoucher in the CapitaStar wallet of the Eligible Shopper exceeds Singapore Dollars One Thousand (S$1,000) in value after crediting the eCapitaVoucher to the existing remaining balance.

     

    2.       ELIGIBILITY

    2.1       Without limiting the generality of the above, the following persons shall not be eligible for the Promotion:

    a.    employees of any retail tenants in the participating CapitaLand Malls; and

    b.    persons who the Organiser may decide to exclude at its discretion without notice and without providing any reason, at any time.

     

    3.       QUALIFYING SPEND

    3.1        Only the total final amount paid as indicated on the tax invoice(s)/ receipt(s) issued by the participating store(s) will be accepted for the Promotions. NETS or credit/debit card transaction slips are not acceptable in place of original copies of shopping receipts.

    Notwithstanding Clause 1.4 of this Terms and Conditions hereinabove, receipt(s) from non-participating stores, car grooming services, SingPost transactions, purchase of parking coupons, purchase or top up of Cashcard / stored value cards, purchase or top up of stores’ membership card, gift cards and vouchers (i.e. eCapitaVoucher or participating stores’ vouchers), SISTIC transactions, AXS / SAM machines transactions and bill payments, purchase of lottery tickets, purchase of movie tickets and food and beverages at cinema, any transactions at pawn shops and money changer, bank and other financial institutions’ transactions and transactions from pushcarts and stalls at temporary roadshows at the participating CapitaLand Malls are not eligible for use as a receipt in this Promotion. For purchases of goods and services made by instalments, only the instalment receipt showing the value of the purchase(s) made on the same day of the redemption, will be eligible for use as a receipt in this Promotion for CapitaStar Rewards programme. Receipt(s) from deposit placements, order placements, and payments using tenant / credit card loyalty points will not be accepted for the purposes of this Promotion.

    3.2        The Organiser may reject any tax invoice, receipts and/or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive.

    3.3        The Organiser reserves the right to verify all purchases made by the Eligible Shopper and the tax invoice(s)/ receipt(s) before processing the redemption of the Mission Stamps and eCV Rewards in the Promotion.

    3.4        Receipts shall be considered expended for the purposes of this Promotion and other promotions in the CapitaLand Mall when it is used to redeem the eCapitaVoucher. Save as provided for in this Terms and Conditions, receipts cannot be used for redemption of multiple eCapitaVouchers. Receipts cannot be used for redemption of more than one promotion at any CapitaLand Mall.

     

    4.       GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

    4.1         Eligible Shoppers must snap the receipt(s) through their CapitaStar app on the same day of purchase during the Promotion Period and only approved receipt(s) will qualify for this Promotion.

    4.2        The eCV Rewards cannot be exchanged for different denomination and are subject to the relevant terms and conditions governing the use of the eCapitaVouchers. Please refer to eCapitaVouchers terms and conditions.

    4.3        By participating in this Promotion, the Member (CapitaStar members):

    4.3.1  acknowledges and consents to the processing, collection, use and disclosure of his/ her Personal Data by the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related corporations including its holding company, CapitaLand Investment Limited (collectively, “CapitaLand Group”), and authorised agents, business partners and service providers in compliance with applicable data protection laws, regulations and guidelines to facilitate the administration of the Promotion including compliance with the Promotion Terms and Condition and that he/ she has read and agreed with the CapitaLand Group’s and Data Protection Policy available at https://www.capitaland.com/international/en/legal-notices/privacy-policy.html  and  may be amended, replaced, substituted from time to time.

    4.3.2   agrees that the Organizer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, business partners and respective officers and employees shall not be liable for any actions, claims, demands, injuries, proceedings, liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses of any nature sustained by the member directly or indirectly by reason of or in connection with this Promotion. The member shall indemnify and keep the Organizer and its officers, servants, agents and employees ("the Indemnified Parties") fully indemnified against any and all loss, damage, demand, liability, claims, expenses and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered and/or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties as a result of the breach of any of the terms and conditions herein by the member. Members are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all the T&Cs set out herein, as well as any other requirements set out in any related promotional material, and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications there to as may be made from time to time.

    4.4           Acceptance of any Reward shall constitute consent on the part of the Eligible Shopper to allow the use of his/ her name, image, voice and/or likeness by the Organizer for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

    4.5           All eCapitaVouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated.

    4.6           The eCapitaVoucher shall be awarded on the presumption that the submitted tax invoice(s), receipt(s) and/ or charge slip(s) are original copies and valid. The Organiser may reject any tax invoice, receipt and/ or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive. In the event any tax invoice, receipt and/or charge slip is rejected by the Organiser as invalid, the Organiser shall reserve the right to void the eCapitaVoucher awarded to the Eligible Shopper and recover the monetary value of the eCapitaVoucher.

    4.7           The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in this Promotion reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdrawal or cancel this Promotion and/or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.

    4.8           The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in this Promotion or redeemed by vouchers or gift certificates and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same.

    4.9           By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper represents that he/she has read and agreed to these Promotion Terms and Conditions.

    4.10        This Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and all participants in this Promotion irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts to resolve all disputes.

    4.11        The Organizer's decision on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.

    4.12        Information stated in this Promotion’s Terms and Conditions is correct at the time printing and is subject to change without prior notice.

    1. What is “Shop To The Top”?

    Shop To The Top is a gamification campaign exclusive to members of CapitaStar Rewards (referred to as “Eligible Shopper”), which will run from 15 March to 30 April 2024, both dates inclusive (excluding Public Holidays).

    CapitaStar members who participates in this gamification campaign will receive a Mission Stamp and $5 eCapitaVoucher upon meeting the qualifying spend, while stocks last. The Top 10 spenders who collected all 5 different mission stamps throughout the promotion period will stand to win S$500 as eCV Reward.

     

    2. Which is the participating mall?

    IMM is the participating mall for Shop To The Top this year.

     

    3. How do I participate?

    Shoppers can download the CapitaStar mobile application and sign up within the App as a member to qualify and participate in this Promotion. In the CapitaStar App, click on the “Shop To The Top” banner to start participating.

    You will be able to see a list of actions to complete on the campaign page. Eligible Shoppers must spend the minimum transactional value (“Qualifying Spend”) at participating stores in the participating CapitaLand Mall to receive a Mission Stamp with a fixed reward (“Game Reward”) or eCapitaVoucher (“eCV Reward”) as shown in the table below. You can complete the missions in any order you prefer.

    Only receipts snapped and uploaded to the CapitaStar app on the same day of purchase from 10am on each day of the promotion period will be accepted for the purpose of satisfying the Qualifying Spend. The Game Reward will be automatically credited directly into the CapitaStar app of the Qualifying Eligible Member upon qualification of all Eligible Receipt(s) snapped and approved. The eCapitaVoucher Rewards in the Promotion are provided on a first-come, first-served basis and redemption of the eCapitaVoucher are subject to availability, while stocks last.

    Strictly no scanning of receipts at the Customer Service Counter.

     

    4. Is there a cap to the number of receipts a member can submit to be eligible for the rewards?

    Eligible Shoppers must submit their receipt with a transactional value of minimum S$80 or more in a single transaction for Missions 1 to 4 and a transactional value of minimum S$120 in a single transaction for Mission 5 to be eligible for the rewards. Limited to one redemption per eligible shopper per day. Strictly no mixing of receipts across stores.

     

    5. Am I guaranteed to receive promotions’ rewards if I meet the qualifying spend criteria?

    No. The S$5 eCapitaVoucher is valid for the first 50 redemptions per mission per day, while stocks last. However, you will still receive the mission stamps upon completing a stipulated mission should S$5 eCapitaVoucher of each mission is fully redeemed.

     

    6. Can I collect more than 1 Mission Stamp a day?

    No, mission stamps are limited to 1 redemption per member per day.

     

    7. Will my stamps counter reset after I have collected all 5 different Mission Stamps?

    No, the counter will not reset after game board completion (i.e. if a member has collected all 5 different Mission Stamps). The counter will continue to accrue, even after each full completion of the gameboard. 

     

    8. How can I qualify for top spender reward?

    You will need to collect all five different mission stamps to qualify for top 10 spenders reward.

     

    9. The action is greyed out on the CapitaStar App. Why is this so?

    This is because you have completed the task for the day/period listed. Daily actions will be refreshed on a daily basis.

     

    10. I did not receive any of the Mission Stamps and/or eCapitaVoucher rewards. Why is this so?

    Kindly ensure that you have met all the requirements to qualify for the rewards. Do also ensure that your CapitaStar wallet value doesn’t exceed S$1,000 in eCapitaVoucher value. Game Rewards will not be credited to the account of the Eligible Shopper if the value of eCapitaVoucher in the CapitaStar wallet of the Eligible Shopper exceeds Singapore Dollars One Thousand (S$1,000) in value after crediting the Game Rewards to the existing remaining balance.

    11. Can I still accumulate my daily awarding of STAR$®?

    Yes. Receipts of purchase(s) must be submitted no later than the next day of purchase (11.59pm) to be eligible for STAR$®. For more information on FAQ for CapitaStar program, you can visit (https://www.capitastar.com/sg/en/capitastar-app/faq.html).

     

    12. Do I still need to snap in my receipts if I have linked my CapitaStar accound to DBS Paylah!?

    No, members who have linked their CapitaStar account on DBS PayLah! and transacted with DBS payment modes do not have to snap their receipts on the CapitaStar app. For members who still proceed to snap their receipts, the receipts will be rejected to avoid double rewarding.

     

    13. Will there be any extension if I forget to scan my receipts?

    There will strictly be no extension for expired receipts and/or expiry date of the rewards. Receipts of purchase(s) must be submitted no later than the next day of purchase (11.59pm) to be eligible for STAR$®.  

     

    14. If my receipts are rejected, what shouId I do?

    If your receipt is rejected due to unclear information, please re-submit your receipt again. For enquiries, you may reach out to our hotline at 6631-9931 (Mon to Sun, 10am-6pm) or email us at retail@capitaland.com.

     

    15. How soon will the eCapitaVoucher be credited?

    The eCapitaVoucher will be credited within 10 minutes upon receipt(s) approval. However, do note that receipt approval may take up to 24 hours.

     

    16. How long is the validity of the eCapitaVoucher rewards?

    The eCapitaVoucher rewards are valid for a period of 93 days upon issuance. You may refer to CapitaStar App – “My Balance Summary” for the expiry date of your eCapitaVoucher earned. Please remember to spend your eCapitaVoucher as extension of validity periods will not be entertained.
