Tsui Wah’s first Southeast Asian outlet opens in Clarke Quay to much fanfare
Get a slice of Hong Kong with Tsui Wah’s signature milk tea, pork chop buns and many more

Popular cha chaan teng Tsui Wah opens its doors from 1pm today (15 June) at Clarke Quay – famed for its mantle as a dining and entertainment hub. True to our food crazed culture, a crowd of over a hundred-people lined up the streets before its official opening in anticipation of the signature dishes.
We were treated to first dibs of the Hong Kong delicacies that Tsui Wah has to offer, and had an enjoyable dining experience at the 140-seater eatery complete with gorgeous riverside views.

Sharing our excitement was popular food and travel writer, Maureen (@misstamchiak) who shared her Top 3 Favourites at Tsui Wah Clarke Quay.
1. Crispy Bun with Condensed Milk ($4)
2. Milk Tea ($3.50 for hot, $4 for cold)

A good cuppa milk tea is one of the must-haves when travelling to Hong Kong. Served in its iconic porcelain cup, Tsui Wah’s rendition of the milk tea comes with evaporated milk without sugar. We say it goes hand in hand with the oh-so-delish baked bun topped with butter and condensed milk.
3. Kagoshima–style Braised Pork Cartilage in Fish Soup with Mixian ($8.50)

We were initially puzzled at how the combination of pork mixed with fish soup will taste, but we soon fell in love with the flavoursome broth and tender pork cartilage that was marinated with a special sauce. So satisfying!
Other highlights include the King Prawns in XO Sauce with Tossed Noodles that is complemented perfectly with chilli oil. A standout surprise for us is the Lamb Chop Curry with Steamed Rice. The lamb is succulent without the gamey taste and comes with a dollop of mash potatoes. We learnt from Tsui Wah’s chefs that their signature curry is stewed for over 6 hours with more than 30 spices, and you will be pleased to know this dish comes with chicken and pork options.

"Being in the heart of the city, Clarke Quay has a good mix of Singaporeans and tourists alike, making it an ideal location for Tsui Wah, especially with our menu which has strong Asian and Western influences. It is also a central location that is very accessible."
A team of chefs from Tsui Wah Hong Kong have also been stationed in Singapore to train the local staff and ensure a consistent delivery of quality and freshness.
