    Simon is CEO of Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) at CapitaLand Investment (CLI), responsible for driving the growth of real estate assets under management and funds under management (FUM) for CLI’s PERE business.

    Prior to joining CLI in 2021, Simon was the Managing Director, Global Chief Investment Officer and Head of U.S. Equity for BlackRock Real Estate, where he was responsible for the overall investment strategy and performance of global real estate portfolios, including real estate funds, investment vehicles and research worldwide.

    Before joining BlackRock, Simon was co-founder, director, and global CEO of MGPA, which held real estate FUM of over US$14 billion across Europe and Asia. He was previously President for Hawaii at The Howard Hughes Corporation based in the USA where he directed the master planning, development, construction, sales, operations, and marketing activities of the 60-acre Ward Village. Simon has extensive global experience, and was based in Sydney, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai, New York City and Honolulu over the course of his career. He has over 30 years of experience in infrastructure and real estate across North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe.

    Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing and Human Resources at Griffith University, Australia.

    Andrew is Group COO at CapitaLand Investment (CLI), responsible for management oversight of country operations. He also oversees the Group’s Sustainability function.

    Prior to this appointment, Andrew was Group CFO of CLI from September 2021 to December 2022.  Before that, he was Group CFO of the CapitaLand Group from 2017 to 2021, where he oversaw the Group’s finance functions and corporate-level mergers and acquisitions, including the landmark S$11 billion merger with Ascendas-Singbridge in 2019. He was a key architect in the successful restructuring of the CapitaLand Group in 2021.

    Before joining CapitaLand, Andrew was an Investment Banker at HSBC Bank for 12 years, rising to the position of Managing Director and Head of Southeast Asia Advisory Coverage, Real Estate and Hospitality.

    Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.

    Kevin is CEO of Lodging at CapitaLand Investment (CLI), responsible for growing the fee-related earnings of CLI’s lodging business. Concurrently, he also oversees the CapitaLand Group’s Centre of Excellence for Digital and Technology.

    Prior to this role, Kevin was CEO of Lodging for the CapitaLand Group. Under his leadership, The Ascott Limited (Ascott) grew to be one of the world’s leading international lodging owner-operators with a portfolio that spans more than 220 cities across over 40 countries. In December 2019, Kevin played an instrumental role in merging the Ascott Residence Trust, now known as CapitaLand Ascott Trust, with the Ascendas Hospitality Trust, creating the largest hospitality trust in Asia Pacific.

    Kevin joined Ascott in 2007 and was based in China for over 10 years, where he served as Regional General Manager for South & East China, Vice President for Asset Management and Vice President for Corporate Services, before moving to assume the role of Ascott’s Managing Director for North Asia in 2013, where he spearheaded Ascott’s investments and operations in China, Japan and Korea.

    Kevin holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from the National University of Singapore and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.

    Tze Shyang is CEO, CapitaLand Investment (China), responsible for driving the growth and management of the company's investments, capital raising, fund management as well as commercial management business in China.

    Prior to this role, Tze Shyang served successively as Chief Investment Officer and CEO, Investment & Portfolio Management for the CapitaLand Group’s China business from 2015 to 2021, where he led a series of major investments that significantly expanded CapitaLand’s interests in the country. He was concurrently Regional General Manager, West China from 2015 to 2018 and oversaw residential and integrated developments in the region.
    Prior to joining CapitaLand, Tze Shyang was CEO of CapitaLand Township (formerly known as Surbana Land) from 2010 and took on the additional role of City General Manager for Chengdu from 2013. He has 25 years of experience in real estate across Singapore and China.

    Tze Shyang holds a Master of Engineering (First Class Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London, United Kingdom. He obtained an Executive MBA with Honours from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, USA.

    Vinamra is Chief Sustainability & Sustainable Investments Officer at CapitaLand Investment (CLI), responsible for formulating and integrating the Group’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy, policies and best practices into its business and operations, fostering a culture of sustainability, and helping to deliver long-term economic value to stakeholders. He is also responsible for leading CLI’s sustainable real assets investments including renewable energy and climate-tech venture capital.

    Prior to this role, Vinamra served as the CEO, India Business Parks, CLI, where he led the development and growth of the company’s business parks portfolio in the country. Vinamra also led multiple sustainability projects across India in the areas of renewable energy and digital technologies to enhance energy and water efficiencies. Before that, he headed the Corporate Strategy & Development function in Ascendas-Singbridge.

    Before joining CapitaLand in 2015, Vinamra was a management consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, Cisco Systems and Arthur D. Little, where he specialised in growth strategy, market entry and infrastructure investments advisory in projects across Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

    Vinamra holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from University of Pune, and a Master of Business Administration from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad in India.

    Kevin Chee has over 24 years of experience in private equity real estate, public REITs and investment banking. He is currently the Fund Manager of CapitaLand’s flagship open-end core plus fund, CapitaLand Open-End Real Estate Fund (“COREF”). Leveraging on his experience in managing real estate vehicles across the Asia Pacific region, and in support of CapitaLand’s strategic direction to grow its investment management business, Kevin has been responsible for the inception, establishment, and ongoing fund raising and buildout of COREF. Within a short span of two years, COREF has secured commitments of close to US$600 million and achieved a fund gross asset value of nearly US$1 billion. 

    Kevin has extensive public and private capital markets and fund management experience. He has been instrumental in raising over US$1.4 billion of equity and tapping debt capital market for over US$1.5 billion over the last 7 years. During this time, he has been involved in acquisitions across different real estate sectors valued at over US$3 billion.

    Prior to taking on the role as Fund Manager of COREF, he was the CEO of CapitaLand Commercial Trust Management Limited, the Manager of CapitaLand Commercial Trust (CCT), Singapore’s largest commercial office REIT with an AUM of US$8.5 billion. His stewardship of CCT culminated in the REIT’s US$8.3 billion merger with CapitaLand Mall Trust to create Singapore’s largest REIT and the second largest REIT in Asia Pacific in October 2020.  

    Kevin has a Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

    Jeremy Choy is Managing Director, APAC Value Add and China Special Situations at CapitaLand Investment (CLI). In this role, he works with investment management professionals in CLI’s private equity real estate business to drive fund performance from acquisition through disposition.

    With over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry across the Asia Pacific, Jeremy has successfully executed transactions exceeding US$10 billion in various asset types.

    Before joining CLI, Jeremy held the position of Managing Director at Surbana Jurong where he led the establishment of the Group’s investment arm, Surbana Jurong Capital. Prior to this, he was with BlackRock, serving as Head of Real Estate for Greater China and Head of Capital Transactions for Southeast Asia. In this role he was responsible for managing investment management activities in Greater China, and acquisition and divestment activities in Southeast Asia. Jeremy was based in Shanghai from 2013 to 2017. Before this, Jeremy also served as the Head of Capital Transactions (Asia Pacific) where he was responsible for all acquisition and divestment activities for two separate fund mandates in the region.

    Jeremy's service with BlackRock dates back to 2006, including his tenure with MGPA, which Blackrock acquired in 2013. Starting in a fund management role for MGPA's opportunistic fund series, he progressed to become Managing Director for Southeast Asia and later assumed the role of Project Director for the US$4.3 billion Asia Square development in Singapore. As Project Director, Jeremy led a multi-faceted development and asset management team to deliver the property’s development plan, and successfully led the divestment of the Asia Square development.

    Prior to MGPA, Jeremy served as a Research Officer at Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority, contributing to property market policy analysis, research, and government land sales. He also spent two years at a property consultancy, where he initiated a successful pan-Asia real estate research forecasting service business.

    Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Economics from the National University of Singapore.

  • Gabriel Fong

    Gabriel Fong is responsible for managing the real estate Special Situations funds business at CapitaLand Investment.

    Gabriel has over 30 years of experience in Special Situations, Real Estate Private Equity investment and fund management. Prior to CapitaLand, Gabriel was the co-Founder and CEO of Vaw Eurasian Capital, a pan-Asia private equity fund targeting the “New Economy” real estate sectors. His overall responsibility included managing all aspects of the fund. Before that, Gabriel was the Managing Director / Head of Asia Special Investments with Sculptor Capital Management (previously known as Och-Ziff Capital Management). At Sculptor, he built and managed the firm’s Asia special situations and illiquid investment strategy. His responsibilities include formulating the investment strategy, reviewing and leading investment opportunities as well as fundraising matters. While at Sculptor he led and executed a wide array of investments, ranging from private and public opportunities as well as across capital structures. Prior to Sculptor, Gabriel also spent stints with Morgan Stanley Private Equity, the Merchant Banking Group of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Goldman Sachs.

    Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) specializing in Economics from Cambridge University, United Kingdom.

  • Michelle Lee

    Michelle Lee leads the data centre private fund strategy for CapitaLand Investment, bringing over 20 years of international real estate experience, spanning multiple asset classes. Over her 15-year career with CapitaLand, Michelle spent 10 years contributing to CapitaLand’s rapid growth in China from 2008 to 2018. Beyond China, she also held leadership positions, spearheading the group’s expansion in Europe and other Asian markets. In addition to general management roles, Michelle has been actively driving investment, asset & portfolio management, fund management, strategic partnerships, development and operations.

    As at early 2018, Michelle oversaw the investment and portfolio management of 69 assets in China, with assets under management (AUM) valued at S$23 billion. She was a key member of the leadership team in China, overseeing the acquisition, design, asset planning, development, team assembly, leasing and opening of integrated developments like Minhang Plaza, Hongkou Plaza, Luone in Shanghai, as well as the iconic 360,000-sqm Suzhou Centre, and Qingdao Xinduxin. Michelle was instrumental in leading the successful exit of a portfolio of 20 assets across China, valued at S$1.7 billion.

    In her role as Managing Director (Europe) from the second quarter of 2018, Michelle spearheaded the growth of CapitaLand's non-lodging business in Europe, witnessing AUM growth seven-fold since then, with two-thirds of AUM currently in new economy sectors like data centres, logistics, and business parks. In March 2021, Michelle led CapitaLand group's successful entry into the European data centre market, with the maiden acquisition of a portfolio valued close to EUR600 million (S$905 million). Since then, Michelle has been actively building up CapitaLand's data centre capability in Europe.

    Michelle holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore.

    Mak Hoe Kit has over 24 years of investment experience in investments and asset management, particularly in real estate and private equity. He joined CapitaLand in January 2019 as the Managing Director of Ascott Global Serviced Residence Fund, a US$600 million serviced residence joint-venture fund with the Qatar Investment Authority to invest in serviced residences globally.

    Prior to Ascott, he was with Frasers Hospitality as the Chief Investment Officer, responsible for the growth of hospitality investments and management contracts globally. Before that, he was Executive Director – Real Estate at Northstar Group; and Executive Director and Co-Leader - Real Estate at Ernst & Young. He spent five years with Pacific Star Group as the Senior Vice President responsible for the Asia Real Estate Income Fund, a EUR500 million value-add fund. During this period, he was instrumental in various real estate investments in Asia and successfully divested them. Hoe Kit started his career in NatSteel Group, a diversified conglomerate where he grew in the job for seven years and was involved in various investments, strategic planning, M&A, restructuring as well as bringing private subsidiary companies to IPO.

    Hoe Kit is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He holds a Master of Science in Real Estate and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the National University of Singapore. He is an active volunteer with the CFA Institute.

    Arjun Pandit is responsible for managing all aspects of the real estate private debt funds business at CapitaLand Investment .

    Arjun is one of the most experienced commercial real estate professional in Asia Pacific with a consistent track record over 20 years in establishing, running and managing businesses related to commercial mortgage and asset backed lending, hard assets investing, real estate operating platforms and distressed debt investment platforms across the breadth of asset classes over business cycles. Over this period, Arjun has participated in over US$20 billion of real estate related transactions, including some of the largest commercial real estate financings in the region.

    Prior to CapitaLand, Arjun was the head of the Asia Pacific asset finance group at Credit Suisse, where he was responsible for managing the lending platform across the region with a primary focus on Australia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Thailand and India. Under his leadership, the bank commenced, for the first time post global financial crises, non-recourse real estate lending activities in Asia Pacific. Arjun was also a member of the bank’s Asia Pacific asset finance capital commitments committee.

    Prior to Credit Suisse, Arjun was the Asia Pacific head of global mortgages and securitized products at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was in-charge of managing commercial and residential mortgage platforms in Japan, Korea and Australia, and led some of the largest buyout related financing transactions in the region.

    Prior to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Arjun was a key member of Morgan Stanley’s Asia Pacific commercial real estate mezzanine lending team, where he was involved in some of the largest financing transactions in Japan and Australia. Arjun started his real estate career in Asia Pacific, post Asian financial crisis, at Lehman Brother’s principal transaction team based in Japan. He was one of the early members of a business platform that went on to establish itself as one of the leading distressed debt and real estate investment platforms in the region.

    Arjun received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Delhi in India and a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management, University of New South Wales in Australia.

    Harry Yan serves as the Head of Southeast Asia (SEA) Logistics at CapitaLand Investment. He is responsible for the growth of the SEA logistics business and oversees the operation of CapitaLand SEA Logistics Fund and related company investments to build logistics capabilities in SEA. 

    Harry has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry with deep knowledge and extensive network in the logistics sector in Singapore, Australia, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia. He was previously Executive Vice President of Frasers Property Industrial where he supported the Industrial Group in business development and investments in SEA. He also oversaw the management of the industrial portfolio in Thailand totaling more than S$3.4 billion and 35 million sq ft, from asset and development management, construction management, customer solutions & leasing, customer experience, property management to operation services. 

    Prior to joining Frasers Property, Harry was with the Fund Manager of CapitaLand Ascendas REIT for 10 years. He last held the position of Head of Singapore Revenue Management, and was responsible for setting up the leasing strategy, asset rejuvenation and revenue targets across the listed portfolio, including the REIT’s maiden logistics platform acquisition in Australia. 

    Harry holds a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management from the University of Reading and a Master of Science from the University of Singapore.

    John Zheng is the Head of Fund Management for CapitaLand Investment (CLI) China. He is responsible for raising Chinese capital to support CLI’s business initiatives in China and in other parts of Asia.

    John has over 16 years of experience in real estate acquisition, debt financing and equity capital raising in Asia and Europe. Prior to joining CLI, John Zheng worked at Tishman Speyer since 2010 and was responsible for sourcing equity capital for Tishman Speyer’s projects in China as well as the US and Europe. He was closely involved in the launch of the Tishman Speyer’s RMB Fund platform and its subsequent growh.

    Before his tenure at Tishman Speyer, John was part of the real estate finance team at Merrill Lynch (now part of Bank of America) in London, where he was responsible for originating commercial mortgage loans across Europe.

    John holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the London School of Economics and Politics Sciences (LSE) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

    Hardik Gesota currently serves as the fund manager for CapitaLand Investment (CLI)’s business park development funds in India - the CapitaLand India Growth Programme and CapitaLand India Growth Fund II. In addition, he is the member of the investment committee for CLI’s two India logistics development programmes. He has over 17 years of experience in private equity real estate investments, asset management and divestments, across diverse asset classes including office, logistics, residential and retail.

    Prior to his current role, Hardik was with HDFC Property Fund where he participated in investments with third party developers on deals involving debt, mezzanine and equity. Before his tenure at HDFC, Hardik worked at JP Morgan’s real estate asset management team.

    Hardik holds a Masters in Management from K J Somaiya Institute of Management.

    Kang Leng Hui is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting to investors and corporate as well as effective capital and treasury management for CapitaLand Investment (CLI)’s private equity fund business.
     
    She has over 20 years of experience in financial and corporate reporting, taxation, capital management and audit. Prior to joining CLI, Leng Hui was the Chief Financial Officer of Keppel REIT since 2018. During her tenure in Keppel, she held various senior positions including Financial Controller of Keppel Capital and Chief Financial Officer of Keppel Infrastructure Trust. She started her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
     
    Leng Hui holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. She is a Chartered Accountant (Singapore) and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

    Gagan Grewal is responsible for Product Development, Clients Services and Marketing Communications for CLI’s Private Funds. Gagan has over 25 years’ experience within the real estate and private equity industry across multiple disciplines including tax and legal structuring, finance, transaction and fund structuring, product development and capital raising, investor relations and corporate marketing communications across the US, Asia and Europe.

    Gagan previously held the positions of Head of Client Services at Apax Partners, Head of Business Development at Europa Capital Partners and Managing Director at MGPA (acquired by Blackrock) where she was responsible for a range of functions including the development of new funds, investor relations, capital raising, events management and PR & media communications. Prior to this Gagan was part of the real estate transactions and new fund development groups at Ares (formerly Apollo Real Estate) and Nuveen (formerly Henderson Global Investors) having starting her career in the real estate tax advisory practice at Arthur Andersen.

    Gagan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (FCA) and holds an MA (Cantab) in Natural Sciences and Management Studies from the University of Cambridge as well as an Investment Property Forum Diploma from the Cambridge International Land Institute.

    Bernhard Karas joined CapitaLand Group in 2020 as Head of Private Capital Markets with responsibility for leading the firm’s private funds product development and global capital raising efforts. He currently focuses on developing CapitaLand Investment’s client base and capital raising for the firm’s private equity real assets platform across Europe and the Middle East.

    Bernhard has 24 years of financial services industry experience and has dedicated a substantial part of his career to advising leading real estate companies and fund managers on the formation of private equity vehicles and raising capital from global institutional investors. Bernhard has been actively involved in the origination and execution of real estate private equity advisory transactions and capital raising mandates of more than US$10 billion.

    Prior to joining CapitaLand, Bernhard spent five years with DWS Group based in Hong Kong leading the alternatives coverage specialists function in Asia ex-Japan. Prior to that, Bernhard was a director in the capital markets group of Cushman & Wakefield in Hong Kong where he was responsible for building and leading the indirect investment and private equity advisory function in the Asia Pacific Region. Before that, Bernhard spent nine years with M3 Capital Partners where he was instrumental in developing the firm’s institutional investor relationships initially in Europe and subsequently in Asia after relocating from London to Hong Kong in April 2009. Bernhard started his career in investment banking in the late 1990s with Lehman Brothers in London.

    Bernhard holds a Masters Degree in Social and Economic Sciences from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.

    Ted Koros has over 30 years of experience in real assets investments with expertise in all elements of capital raising, product development, and marketing for both domestic and global strategies. He has extensive experience creating funds and successfully bringing them to market by partnering with portfolio, research and strategy, and product development teams.

    Prior to his current role, Ted served as Managing Director for BlackRock Real Estate where he led capital raising in the Western US for both domestic and international products. Member of the BlackRock Alternatives Specialists Group – Real Assets, where he was instrumental in capital raising for infrastructure products which included both debt and equity. During his 26-year tenure at BlackRock, Ted had several other roles including portfolio management overseeing several multifamily fund strategies, acquisitions with a specialty in multifamily assets and Chief Operating Officer of Metric Property Management.

    Ted holds a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis. He is a CFA® charter holder.

    Ilsung Min has over 25 years of experience in the real estate investment and fund management industry. He has been involved in over 20 real estate investment, development and financing transactions across various sectors such as office, hyper-scale data centres, logistics centres, serviced residences and hotels in South Korea.

    Since joining CapitaLand in 2008 as senior business development manager, he has been actively engaged in strategy, deal sourcing and structuring, capital raising (equity and loan), as well as core, value-add and development projects in Korea with a cumulative value exceeding US$2 billion. He has been a member of the investment committee and asset revaluation committee for all the funds managed by CapitaLand South Korea.

    Prior to CapitaLand, Ilsung has been a seasoned real estate professional with experience working in Samsung Life, the largest life insurance company in Korea and a boutique firm as one of the founders.

    Wilson Hah focuses on raising capital from institutional investors for CapitaLand Investment’s private equity funds business and collaborates with various internal stakeholders to originate new private equity funds that meet the needs of global institutional investors.

    Wilson has over 20 years of extensive experience in the real estate sector spanning investments, corporate lending and research. He has been with CapitaLand for more than 13 years in roles encompassing alternative investments, credit as well as fund product development and structuring. Prior to CapitaLand, he worked in the Asia investment teams of General Electric Real Estate and AIG Real Estate; and the corporate lending department of United Overseas Bank, focusing on lending to real estate funds and developers. He started his career in real estate research for the Urban Redevelopment Authority, a government agency responsible for Singapore’s long-term land usage needs.

    Wilson has a Bachelor in Social Sciences with a second Upper Class Honours in Economics from the National University of Singapore. He has also been awarded the charter for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

    Kevin Law is Executive Director of Private Capital Markets, responsible for raising capital from Asia Pacific-based investors, for CapitaLand Investment’s private equity real assets platform.

    Kevin has more than 20 years’ experience in real asset sectors including infrastructure, real estate and private equity, from capital raising and investment management, to valuation and corporate finance. 

    Kevin had previously co-founded and most recently led, the Asia Pacific capital raising team within Vantage Infrastructure/Hastings Funds Management, in addition to working in both unlisted and listed infrastructure funds and asset management roles across multiple infrastructure sectors including airports, toll roads, ports, electricity generation, distribution and transmission, and gas transmission, over a 13-year period. Prior to that, he was involved in the valuation of unlisted and listed businesses at KPMG Corporate Finance and started his career in the corporate banking division of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ Bank). 

    Having worked in both Singapore and Australia, Kevin has a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Melbourne and is a CPA of CPA Australia.

    John is Executive Director, Private Capital Markets, based in United Arab Emirates and represents CapitaLand Investment in the Middle East, focusing on developing and maintaining client relationships with Institutional Investors, Private Banks and Family Offices. 

    John has been with CapitaLand Investment for over 9 years and previously oversaw the funds management business for the Raffles City China Funds and the Ascendas China Commercial Fund with a total combined equity fund size of about US$4 billion, focusing on investment into mixed-use properties in China.
     
    In 2016, he successfully raised a new US$1.5 billion Raffles City China Fund and deployed this capital into two assets valued at approximately RMB25 billion. In 2021, he led the successful full exit for investors of two Raffles City China Funds (combined fund size of approximately US$2 billion). The exit involved six assets, valued at approximately RMB46.7 billion.
     
    John has over 21 years of experience in commercial real estate and previously worked for Morgan Stanley, Lend Lease and KPMG. John is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a double degree in Commerce and Information Systems from the University of Melbourne and has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

    With more than 15 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, private equity, fundraising and real estate in Australia and the Asia Pacific region, Neil has held positions at Lazard, Citi and UBS.

    Neil is a graduate of the University of Melbourne.

    Bryan Law has over 17 years of experience in the private equity real estate industry with on-the-ground experience in Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Japan.

    Bryan started his career with BlackRock and accumulated extensive experience in various functions over his 14-year tenure, including acquisition, fund management, asset management and development. With over US$7 billion of investment track record, Bryan was involved in transactions across different sectors including office, retail, logistics, industrial, multi-family and hotel, and for both value-added and core-plus strategy. His key achievements at BlackRock include the establishment of the Japan Core Plus Fund (US$780 million) in 2007-2008 and the development of a mixed-use development in Singapore with a gross development value of over US$3 billion from 2009 to 2013.

    Before joining CapitaLand, Bryan was the Chief Investment Officer for a boutique real estate asset management company that he co-founded. The start-up has initiated a co-living joint venture (US$110 million) with an institutional co-living operator; and originated and advised a sales-and-leaseback transaction of an industrial property in Singapore.

    Bryan holds a Master Degree in Philosophy (Real Estate Finance) from the University of Cambridge. He also holds a First-Class Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Hong Kong. Bryan is a CFA® Charterholder since 2009.

    Ow Yu Jin is responsible for the Asia Pacific Research and Strategy coverage focusing on major markets across the region including Greater China, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia and India.

    Yu Jin has over 18 years of Research and Strategy experience covering Asia Pacific markets. Prior to joining CapitaLand, Yu Jin spent eight years in the Middle East with Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (“ADIA”), heading the Asia Pacific Research and Strategy function within the Real Estate Department. Prior to his tenure with ADIA, Yu Jin was an associate director in the Asia Pacific Research and Strategy team at LaSalle Investment Management in Singapore, with a focus on investment research in Greater China, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. Yu Jin started his career as an analyst with the Real Estate Intelligence Service at Jones Lang LaSalle and subsequently joined Standard Chartered Bank Real Estate Fund Management as part of the Asia Pacific Research and Strategy team.

    Yu Jin received a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore.

    Cheryl Seet is responsible for building CapitaLand Investment’s private wealth business, a key component in the organization’s long-term growth. Prior to this appointment, she led the Group Strategy team which develops the long-term strategy for the Group. Her role included identifying strategic business focus areas and worked with business units to formulate corporate strategies; as well as emerging business trends to establish new platforms for the firm.

    With her professional experience spanning 20 years in real estate, investments and investment banking, Cheryl was the Director of Investments and Capital Partners at Ascendas-Singbridge where she supported the firm’s expansion in Australia and its entry into the United States through the acquisition of office properties. 

    Prior to her role at Ascendas-Singbridge, Cheryl held various positions across multiple groups in Temasek International, including investments, portfolio management and enterprise development. She started her career at Lehman Brothers in London, the United Kingdom and Menlo Park, United States where she advised technology companies and investors on mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, leveraged buyouts and various forms of financing.

    Currently serving as a NEXT Committee member of the Urban Land Institute Singapore, Cheryl actively supports the ULI mission and its commitments to convene, inspire and lead.

    Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

    Pauline Oh manages the marketing communications strategy and efforts for CapitaLand Investment (CLI)’s private funds platform. In this role, she drives the strategic messaging, brand perception, thought leadership profile and communications strategies to engage the investment communities and strengthen CLI’s global brand positioning.

    Before joining CLI, Pauline was Senior Vice President at the Urban Land Institute (ULI) where she played a key role in steering ULI’s programme of work in Asia Pacific and provided oversight on content development, corporate relationships and sponsorship initiatives. Over her eight-year tenure with ULI, Pauline also served as ULI's chief representative in Singapore, liaising with government and industry bodies and acting as the spokesperson to enhance ULI’s reputation and expand community outreach.
     
    Pauline’s previous work experience includes leadership positions at Terrapinn, a global business media company where for over a decade, she managed a portfolio of real estate investment conferences throughout Asia Pacific.
     
    She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
