CLI Young Achievers Scholarship

The CapitaLand Investment Young Achievers Scholarship programme provides outstanding students from Indonesia, Malaysia and the People's Republic of China (PRC) with the opportunity to study in Singapore for four years, from Secondary Three to Junior College Year Two, leading to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level certificate, or its equivalent qualification. This initiative reflects CapitaLand Investment’s (CLI) commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering educational excellence. Through this scholarship, CLI aims to support students in realising their academic aspirations, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to achieve their goals. 

 

Eligibility 

  • Citizen of Indonesia or Malaysia or the PRC
Country Current Level of study        
Indonesia           Sekolah Menengah Pertama 2 or 3 
Malaysia   Form 2 or 3 
PRC For academic readiness, scholarship recipients are strongly encouraged to complete Junior Middle 3 before arrival in Singapore.

 

  • Born between 2 January 2010 and 1 January 2013 (inclusive) 
  • Outstanding academic performance and active involvement in co-curricular activities
  • Proficient in English

     

Scholarship Coverage 

  • School and examination fees
  • A settling-in allowance and annual allowance
  • Hostel accommodation
  • Economy class airfare or travel allowance to Singapore at the start of the scholarship, and to the home country upon completion 
  • Subsidised medical benefits and accident insurance coverage
  • Hands-on experience through internships, immersive learning journeys and workshops

Selection Process

The selection process involves multiple stages to ensure a comprehensive review of applicants. First, all applications will be reviewed, and eligible candidates who meet our criteria will be shortlisted. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take a selection test. Those who perform well will be invited for an online interview. At each stage, shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.

Successful applicants must also undergo a self-funded medical examination in their home country to confirm their fitness for studying in Singapore. 

Shortlisted candidates will be notified regarding the test details.

Post Scholarship

No, there are no restrictions. Scholarship recipients can pursue university education studies in Singapore or overseas upon completing Junior College. 

Scholarship recipients will be able to gain practical hands-on experience through internships, learning journeys and workshops.
