Unsolicited Offers

Scammers may contact you via phone using unknown or overseas phone numbers or send emails/ messages offering exclusive investment deals with “high-yield” returns or other opportunities.

What You Can Do

  • Be vigilant when you receive a call or email on any “high returns” investment, attractive job offer, training opportunity or product sale/deal which is too good to be true. Always verify the identity of anyone claiming to represent CapitaLand. When in doubt, refer to the information published on the official website.
  • Urgent requests for personal information and quick action of clicking on a button/hyperlink are common red flags to look out, and could be phishing emails/websites/apps. Do not click on any suspicious links or attachments. Check website URLs, email subject headings and sender email addresses carefully. Scammers often use slight variations like misspelt company names to appear legitimate.
  • Do not share personal information, including passwords, banking details, or identification documents with unknown parties.
