Our Global Sustainability Reports & Publications

CapitaLand was one of the first companies in Singapore to voluntarily publish its Sustainability Reports according to the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) Guidelines in 2009. The reports cover CapitaLand’s international portfolio and global workforce, including its six listed real estate investment trusts (REITs) and business trusts – CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust, CapitaLand Ascendas REIT, CapitaLand Ascott Trust, CapitaLand China Trust, CapitaLand India Trust and CapitaLand Malaysia Trust.

The report includes the Group’s management approach in integrating sustainability into its policies, structure, management and operations. It shares the Group’s sustainability journey, provides insights into its strategies, as well as highlights the economic, environmental and social aspects of the Group’s developments and operations.

Following the restructuring of CapitaLand Limited into two distinct business entities – CapitaLand Investment (CLI), the listed real estate investment management business and CapitaLand Development, the privatised property development arm, CLI continues to publish the Global Sustainability Report building on CapitaLand Limited’s sustainability efforts.

The latest CapitaLand Investment Global Sustainability Report 2023, continues to be prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards, and to apply the Guiding Principles of the International Integrated Reporting (IIRC) Framework as well as ISO 26000:2010 Guidance on Social Responsibility to this report. It also references the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) real estate sector-specific standards. CLI has voluntarily disclosed climate-related financial disclosures in four key areas as recommended by Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The report was externally assured in accordance with the International Standard on Assurance Engagements 3000 (ISAE 3000).
