DSO National Laboratories comprises two eight-storey buildings: one with a 263-lot multi-storey carpark, and the other with 189 parking lots. Together, both buildings have a combined gross floor area totalling up to approximately 68,700 sqm. In 2013, DSO National Laboratories was awarded the BCA Green Mark GoldPlus Award. 

For almost 30 years, DSO has been a tenant of Singapore Science Park. It considers its location at the park to be a strategic spot for sensitive R&D, with its Research Centre located nearby at the end of Stockport Road on Marina Hill. DSO plays a pivotal role in Singapore's defence ecosystem, serving key players such as Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), the Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA), as well as other ministries and various statutory boards.
