6 October 2022 - CapitaLand Investment’s wholly owned lodging business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott), has scooped 25 accolades at the annual World Travel Awards 2022, including winning Europe's Leading Serviced Apartment Brand 2022 for its Citadines Apart'hotel brand.

Eight of Ascott’s 25 awards went to its European brands, including Citadines Islington London, the newest addition to Citadines’ UK portfolio, which won England's Leading Serviced Apartments 2022 for the first time.

Citadines was also awarded Leading Serviced Apartments 2022 in Spain, Germany and France, and Leading Serviced Apartment Brand 2022 in France, for the third consecutive year; and in Germany, for the tenth consecutive year.

The World Travel Awards recognise leadership and excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry, with Ascott, one of the world's largest international lodging owner-operators, collecting awards in the following categories:
