CapitaLand donates RM200,000 worth of essential supplies to support close to 2,250 underserved children & low-income families across Malaysia
Strengthened impact through strategic industry partnerships to deliver healthcare, essentials and joy to beneficiaries

Kuala Lumpur, 6 January 2026 – CapitaLand Group, through its philanthropic arm, CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF), has contributed RM200,000 worth of daily necessities and educational supplies to approximately 2,250 beneficiaries through its #GivingBersama 5.0 initiative. This community initiative, which is part of CapitaLand’s annual #GivingAsOne global campaign, aims to support beneficiaries from orphanage homes and uplift families in Penang, Klang Valley, Pahang, and Johor.
From 16 October to 20 November 2025, CapitaLand staff volunteers came together to support close to 680 low-income families and 220 underserved children in collaboration with Unit Mutiara Food Bank (Penang) and the Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Malaysia offices in Kuala Lumpur, Kuantan, and Johor.
With #GivingBersama now in its fifth year, CapitaLand rallied its tenants and partners to broaden the initiative’s impact. For the first time, Big Pharmacy came on board as a strategic partner, providing free health check-ups for B40 families to promote health awareness and improve access to basic healthcare. Adding a sweet touch, Little Scoop delighted Klang Valley beneficiaries with complimentary yoghurt ice cream, while NSK Grocer contributed daily essentials. In Penang, Adventist Hospital extended its support by offering complimentary health screenings to the local community.
Beneficiaries once again enjoyed CapitaLand’s signature shopping mall bazaar experience held at community halls across Klang Valley and Kuantan, as well as at Gurney Plaza where they were able to select items they needed from a wide range of essential supplies, fresh produce, healthy snacks, and stationery items.

In 2025, we strengthened our efforts by collaborating with industry partners to not only provide daily essentials but also promote health awareness through complimentary health screenings and check-ups. We are deeply grateful to our partners for their support and to our volunteers for their dedication, which together have helped improved access to basic healthcare and enhanced the well-being of families in need.”

In 2025, more than 210 staff volunteers contributed close to 1,740 volunteer hours to uplift vulnerable groups in Malaysia. Since 2011, CapitaLand, with CHF’s support, has helped over 16,100 beneficiaries and donated more than RM2.6 million locally,” added Ms Ng.
Held annually, CapitaLand’s #GivingAsOne campaign brings together staff, tenants, business partners, and customers to uplift lives of vulnerable groups in the communities where it operates. From August to October 2025, over 17,000 volunteers across 14 countries contributed more than 100,000 volunteer hours, benefiting over 130,000 individuals.
