The key to sustaining a successful business lies in choosing the right partner who understands the brand’s value and purpose. This is what Cheryl Tay, Head of Development at McDonald’s Singapore expressed about the long-term partnership that the multi-billion-dollar fast-food chain has with CapitaLand.
In the first episode of CapitaLand’s new video series titled Building Brilliance, Cheryl Tay shares more about how the long-standing partnership between McDonald’s and CapitaLand has supported the brand’s growth.
From strategically expanding its restaurant presence across CapitaLand’s retail malls to establishing its headquarters at integrated development, Aperia, Cheryl highlights the journey of the brand’s first outlet in 1979 to present day of over 150 restaurants islandwide – eight of which are located within CapitaLand’s retail malls.
Looking ahead, McDonald’s remains focused on finding refreshed and reimagined venues that are at the heart of where their customers are. As Cheryl puts it “As Singapore evolves with exciting living and community spaces, we too want to evolve along and to be where our customers are.”
