Christmas At Our Malls: From Our Family To Yours

Let your story unfold at CapitaLand malls this festive season as we transform them into a Disney-themed Christmas wonderland, complete with exciting events and shopping deals galore.

Whether you’re a die-hard Disney fan, or someone who only watches anything Disney-related to please your kids, there’s no denying that there’s a delightful quality about Disney that just can’t seem to be replicated by anyone or anything else. Whether it’s Disney and Pixar’s family favourites like Toy Story, the action-packed Marvel series, or even the classic Walt Disney characters like Mickey Mouse and Friends, there's bound to be a Disney film or character that has stirred up your inner child at some point.

That’s why, to ring in the most wonderful time of the year, we’re bringing a truly memorable experience into CapitaLand malls with Disney-themed festive decor. Each of our 16 malls has been transformed with iconic character installations across Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel, from now till the end of the year.

Plus, we’ve also got a slew of activities, promotions, and shopping deals happening across our malls throughout this festive season as well. But before we jump into that, here’s a complete look of the decor that you can expect to see, to kick-off your photo-snapping journey across our malls islandwide.

Raffles City

Star Wars fans, you’ll definitely want to swing by Raffles City—we’ve got an All Terrain Armored Cargo Transport (AT-ACT), and an X-wing fighter complete with BB-8 peeking out of the top, on display at Level 1 and Level 3 respectively.

On 26 November, a group of Star Wars fans and enthusiasts from the 501st Legion Singapore Garrison and Rebel Legion Cathar Base — international participated in a costume parade with the thematic installations at Raffles City. A buzz of excitement (or The Force) filled the mall with plenty of fun-filled photo opportunities shared by everyone during the event. Bugis Junction

If you’re a fan of Marvel, you’ll be happy to note that we’ve got four dedicated Marvel-themed set-ups across four of our malls, the first being a massive The Incredible Hulk display at Bugis Junction.

A Night To Remember

The Incredible Hulk fans, take note: from now till 4 December, be captivated by spectacular projection mapping shows inspired by Marvel Studios' SheHulk: Attorney at Law happening nightly at Bugis Square, Bugis Junction. Shows are run every 15 minutes from 7pm to 9:45pm*, rain or shine.

Plaza Singapura

Next up on our list of Marvel-inspired installations is an intricate outdoor display, this time at Plaza Singapura. Step through our special light tunnel, and you’ll be transported to Asgard, where our Thor, the God of Thunder display awaits in its full glory. For the full experience, we recommend visiting after sunset, when the display is lit!

Funan

No Marvel-themed decor is complete without a splash of Iron Man, which is on display at Level 1 of Funan. The Iron Man suit is always a sight to behold, don’t you think?

Bedok Mall and JCube

A crowd favourite among families, we had to spread our Frozen-inspired decor across two malls, in both the east and the west. Westies, be greeted by Elsa surrounded by ice crystals right at the entrance of JCube, while Olaf awaits indoors on a little patch of snow. For folks in the East, you can find both Elsa and Olaf in a joint display, complete with snowy white Christmas trees, at the outdoor atrium of Bedok Mall.

Junction 8 and SingPost Centre

Enter the world of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story through the thematic installations at SingPost Centre and Junction 8. To infinity and beyond with Buzz Lightyear and Little Green Men on display at the main atrium of SingPost Centre on Level 1. Meet Woody and Bo Peep in their respective festive displays at Junction 8!

Westgate

If you’re revving for Pixar-themed decor, head on down to Westgate to see our Cars display in person. We’ve got Lightning McQueen, Luigi, and Mater on display, along with a Christmas tree made out of green tyres. If you’re a Cars fan, you won’t want to miss this one.

IMM

A perennial favourite Disney and Pixar movie is Monsters Inc., so you know we had to feature the iconic duo, Sulley and Mike. At IMM, we’ve pulled out all the stops to create a little nook that's reminiscent of Monsters Inc., complete with signages, Boo’s bedroom door, and more.

Bukit Panjang Plaza and Aperia

We’ve brought a part of the Hundred Acre Wood down to Bukit Panjang Plaza and Aperia, with the beloved Tigger and Winnie The Pooh making an appearance in both malls. In Bukit Panjang Plaza, they can be found on separate large, hanging baubles, while at Aperia, they can be found together on Level 1, with Pooh in a bee costume in a puddle of honey.

Lot One

Spot the dynamic duo Donald Duck and Daisy Duck at Lot One, with a stelllar backdrop of a glowing fireplace display.

Magnificent Mementos

Shop for something special for the Disney fans in your life at our Disney merchandise pop-up stores, happening from now till January at Raffles City, Tampines Mall, Junction 8, Westgate, Bugis Junction, Bugis+, and Funan.

Disney-Themed Storytelling Sessions

Here’s one for the kids—on 7 and 12 December, from 5pm to 6pm, join us for the Disney-themed Storytelling session at the Choa Chu Kang Public Library, Lot One for a time of storytelling magic. Admission is free, and if you or your kids come dressed as your favourite Disney character, you might just receive e-vouchers from us.
