CapitaLand Investment (CLI) entered the Australian market in 2012 with the acquisition of a hotel portfolio under its listed lodging trust now known as CapitaLand Ascott Trust (CLAS) and in 2015, acquired a substantial logistics portfolio for CapitaLand Ascendas REIT (CLAR). Today, CLI owns and manages over 200 assets for investors and third-party partners across eight key cities and territories across Australia. Its diversified real estate asset classes cover logistics, business parks, office and lodging properties.
