This milestone follows the success of Lumi Hanoi, another residential project by CLD that broke ground in March 2024 and achieved an impressive sales result of 99% in just seven months across three phases.
Mr Ronald Tay, CEO of CapitaLand Development (Vietnam), said: “The groundbreaking of The Senique Hanoi today is more than just the start of a new project—it underscores CLD’s deep-rooted commitment to driving Vietnam’s urban transformation. In 2024, we have broken ground on three major developments: Sycamore, Lumi Hanoi, and The Senique Hanoi. Together, these projects boast a total gross development value exceeding S$2.6 billion (approximately 47 trillion VND [1]). This has reflected our confidence in Vietnam’s growth potential. The Senique Hanoi represents a significant step forward in our commitment to expand our residential portfolio to 27,000 units by 2028. We believe The Senique Hanoi will redefine living standards in East Hanoi, just as Lumi Hanoi has transformed the western part of the city.”

Their expertise brings valuable design insights and best practices from Japan, integrating a strong focus on sustainability. These values, which have consistently defined CLD’s developments, will once again drive the lasting impact we create within our communities.”
His Excellency Mr Jaya Ratnam, Singapore’s Ambassador to Vietnam, highlighted CLD’s significant contributions to Vietnam’s urban development: “CLD’s achievements in Vietnam reflect its dedication to foster urbanisation and economic growth in Vietnam. I am proud to witness CLD’s continued efforts and growth in Vietnam are setting new benchmarks for sustainable urban development in Vietnam.”
