Hanoi, 12 June 2026 – CapitaLand Development (CLD) launched the fourth edition of “Together We Step: Step For Kindness” campaign in Hanoi, which rallies participants around a collective target of 440 million steps to unlock a funding commitment of US$98,000 in support of vulnerable children. The campaign is supported by CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF), the philanthropic arm of CapitaLand Group, as part of the Foundation’s three-year partnership with Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation focused on education and outreach programmes for children and youth to build what matters in the communities where we operate.

Mr Alwin Low, General Manager (North VIetnam), CLD Vietnam, and Mr Do Duy Vi, Co-CEO of Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, officiated the launch of the fourth edition of “Together We Step, Step For Kindness”

Held from 11 June to 4 October 2026, the campaign comprises an online step challenge, where participants track and submit their steps throughout the campaign period. It culminates in an outdoor community walk on 4 October 2026, at Ocean City, Hung Yen. Two routes (2km and 5km) will be available to participants of all ages. CHF has pledged to donate up to US$98,000 (over VND2.5 billion1) to Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation upon the achievement of a combined target of 400 million online steps and 40 million event steps.

Mr Alwin Low, General Manager (North Vietnam), CLD Vietnam, said: “Now in its fourth year, ‘Together We Step: Step For Kindness’ reflects CapitaLand’s commitment to enrich lives and uplift the communities where we operate. The strong public enthusiasm and participation across each edition have been encouraging. This year, with the continued support of CHF and our partnership with Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, we look forward to rallying more employees, partners and the wider community to achieve the step target, while broadening participation through the outdoor community walk to extend the positive impact for children and youth facing adversity.”

The 2026 campaign marks the completion of CHF’s three-year commitment of up to US$270,000 (over VND7 billion) under this partnership to benefit children and youth facing adversity in Vietnam. Across the first two phases, CHF contributed US$172,000 (over VND4.4 billion) to Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation to enhance the social mobility of children and youth by expanding access to education and strengthening skills development across vocational training, career guidance, life skills and leadership training.

Impact from the partnership is delivered on a phased basis. Funding unlocked in 2024 was implemented throughout 2025, which kept over 200 children and youth in education, enrolled more than 20 youth in vocational training, and provided over 70 children and youth with more than 20 skills development sessions. In 2025, in addition to CHF’s funding support, CLD Vietnam and Ascott2 Vietnam staff volunteers supported Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation to conduct career and skills development sessions covering languages, arts, STEM, social and emotional learning, leadership and career orientation. Volunteer engagement activities also took place across both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr Do Duy Vi, Co-CEO of Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, said: “Collaborating with CapitaLand for the ‘Together We Step: Step for Kindness’ initiative allows us to reach more street children living in precarious conditions, help them leave the dangers of the streets and return to the classroom for a chance at a more hopeful future. This enduring alliance with CapitaLand strengthens our ability to foster resilience and ambition in our youth. Each stride we take together represents a collective commitment to opening doors to a promising future for Vietnam’s next generation.”

The Fullton Regal, the second phase of The Fullton – CLD’s first luxury low-rise development in the Greater Hanoi area – is the main sponsor of this year’s “Together We Step, Step For Kindness” campaign. Following the groundbreaking success of the first phase, The Fullton Edition, which achieved a 91% sales rate for its 342 units during the exclusive launch last October, The Fullton Regal aims to continue to build on the project’s strong momentum. Together with other sponsors, The Fullton Regal will contribute resources and on-ground support for participants, reinforcing the collaborative spirit of CapitaLand’s signature global giving campaign, #GivingAsOne, and advancing shared efforts to support vulnerable communities.
