CapitaLand Investment Group bags four accolades at the Singapore Corporate Awards 2022

Singapore, 30 August 2022 – CapitaLand Investment Group has won four accolades at this year’s Singapore Corporate Awards (SCA), including the prestigious Best Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Award for listed companies with a market capitalisation of S$1 billion and above received by Mr Andrew Lim, Group CFO of CapitaLand Investment Limited (CLI).
In the Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Business Trusts category, Ascott Residence Trust (ART) and CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust (CICT) clinched the gold award for Best Investor Relations and Best Annual Report, respectively. This is the fifth gold award CICT has received at the SCA for Best Annual Report. In addition, Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust (Ascendas Reit) scored the silver award for Best Annual Report, the fifth recognition it has received at the SCA.
CLI – Best CFO of the Year Award
The Best CFO award recognises exemplary CFOs who play a significant role in supporting, advocating and promoting good corporate governance, disclosure and transparency in their companies. Winners serve as role models in corporate financial disclosure by going beyond regulatory financial reporting requirements and helping create long-term sustainable shareholder value.

As Group CFO, Mr Lim is responsible for the company’s finance strategy and management, operations and risk management and capital allocation. Since joining CapitaLand in 2017, Mr Lim has played a key role in the Group’s major transactions. These included the landmark S$11 billion merger with Ascendas-Singbridge in 2019 and the restructuring of the CapitaLand Group in 2021 to take its real estate development arm private and list its real estate investment management business, unlocking significant value for shareholders.
ART – Best Investor Relations (Gold)
The Best Investor Relations award recognises companies that embody the spirit of good corporate governance and corporate transparency; adopt and implement best practices in investor relations.

The Best Annual Report award recognises excellence and clarity in financial reporting and presentation while considering a broader scope of disclosures beyond minimum regulatory requirements that are in tandem with the needs of investors and other stakeholders such as employees, creditors, and the general investing public.
