2023 New Year Message
Hi everyone,
When times are uncertain, and the road ahead’s rough
Will we feel gloomy, or will we stay tough?
As challenges come, we’ll do well to recall
We’ve been through much worse, and never did fall
With the Ascendas SingBridge merger, we banded as one
Through the hardships of Covid, we got the job done
We held on together, and took up the fight
To win a new dawn, and beat the dark night
When we were convinced a new path was needed
We received the support, and so we proceeded
To list CLI, and kick off our dream
Of building and becoming a world leading REIM1
Our journey’s just started, we’re laying the ground
To strengthen our team, lift skills all around
We’re making bold moves, to invest and to grow
A global, diverse, and winning portfolio
The key growth drivers which we will pursue
Are to manage funds well, and expand lodging too
With inflation rates high, and liquidity tight
We must get capital management right
As we look forward to the new year ahead
There’s nothing to fear, no reason to dread
We have a star team, our balance sheet’s strong
Primed for great deals that will come along
We’ll focus on basics, control what we can
Disciplined in delivering our strategy and plan
Rally our people, delight our customers
Care for communities, excite our investors
Led by our Purpose, our direction is clear
Make a positive impact and always adhere
