Sino-Singapore Jilin Food Zone
The Sino-Singapore Jilin Food Zone (SSJFZ) is CapitaLand's only food project in China and it is managed by Sino-Singapore Jilin Food Zone Development and Management Co., Ltd, a joint venture between CapitaLand and the Jilin City Government. As a commercially-driven project with strong government support, the food zone is the first agricultural collaboration between Singapore and China.
SSJFZ spans 1,450 sq km with a core area of 57 sq km. It is strategically located in Jilin Province between Changchun and Jilin cities, two of Jilin Province's largest cities. Capitalising on the region's rich natural resources of black soil, clean waters and favourable natural climate, SSJFZ adopts modern agri-technologies to achieve its vision of becoming a world-class, integrated and sustainable model food zone to produce quality and safe food. SSJFZ is built on international standards of Disease Free Zone (DFZ) for Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) and an Integrated Food Safety System (IFSS) which leverage the experience from the Singapore government.
Today, investors have settled in the start-up area of SSJFZ and the first of the goods produced under the "Brilliance 43N" brand, particularly the famed Jilin rice, has been launched for sale in both Singapore and China markets. For more information, please visit www.brilliancefoods.com
