Raffles City Chongqing

Located at the confluence of Yangtze and Jialing rivers, Raffles City Chongqing is designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie, who drew inspiration from the region’s thousand years of waterway transportation culture to create an image of powerful sails upon the river for Raffles City Chongqing to symbolise the city’s surging growth.

With a total investment of RMB24 billion and a total construction floor area of 1.12 million sq m, Raffles City Chongqing brings together a 235,000-sq m shopping mall, 150,000 sq m of Grade A office space, 1,400 residential apartments, Ascott Raffles City Chongqing serviced residence and InterContinental Chongqing Raffles City hotel.

A design highlight is The Crystal sky bridge nestled above four 250-metre-tall skyscrapers, which houses the Exploration Deck, a viewing gallery that offers high-altitude thrilling attractions accessible to the public; The Private Club, a members-only clubhouse; and a wide array of cuisine options at The Crystal Dining and Bars.

From the shopping mall on the Jialing River side, shoppers can take the elevator up to the Exploration Deck on The Crystal. The Crystal has launched three high-altitude amusement thrills: a viewing gallery where shoppers can overlook the two rivers from a height of 250 metres; China's first high-altitude thrilling hike atop a skyscraper, "Skywalk"; and the first urban high-altitude river swing in southwest China, "Sky Swing". In 2023, the Exploration Deck became Chongqing’s first and only member of World Federation of Great Tower. Raffles City Chongqing aims to continue to lead the new diversified tourism consumption trend and is committed to becoming the top-tier high-altitude urban leisure destination in China.
