1.   INTRODUCTION

1.1.    Spend and Win Big Draw (the “Lucky Draw”) is exclusive to members of CapitaStar Rewards (referred to as “Eligible Shopper”) and is organised by CapitaLand Retail Management Pte Ltd (“Organiser”) and shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“Lucky Draw T&Cs”).

 

1.2.      The lucky draw period (“Lucky Draw Period”) is between 1 July 2024 to 30 September 2025, both dates inclusive.

1.3.   The Lucky Draw mechanics of “Spend and Win Big” Lucky Draw are as follows:

 

1.3.1. All Eligible Shoppers will receive one (1) Lucky Draw chance with each qualifying transaction by spending Singapore Dollars Sixty ($60) in a single transaction at any of the participating CapitaLand malls throughout the Qualifying Period(s).

 

1.3.2. The participating malls in the Lucky Draw are Aperia Mall, Bedok Mall, Bugis Junction, Bugis+, Bukit Panjang Plaza, CQ @ Clarke Quay, Funan, IMM, Jewel Changi Airport, Junction 8, Kallang Wave Mall, Lot One, Plaza Singapura, Raffles City Singapore, Sengkang Grand Mall, SingPost Centre, The Atrium@Orchard, Tampines Mall and Westgate. 

 

1.3.3. From 1 July to 7 July 2025, one (1) lucky draw chance will be credited when an Eligible Shopper snaps and uploads a qualifying receipt via the CapitaStar mobile app on the same day of purchase during the relevant Qualifying Period(s). From 8 July to 30 September 2025, one (1) lucky draw chance will be credited when an Eligible Shopper makes a qualifying transaction using an Eligible Payment Method (eCapitaVoucher, Mastercard, DBS/POSB payment modes (including DBS/POSB American Express, Mastercard, VISA credit or debit cards and/or DBS PayLah!) or ShopBack Pay). For the avoidance of doubt, please ensure that you’ve completed the following action(s) before a spend is made with an Eligible Payment Method to qualify for the Reward:

  • eCapitaVoucher – Kindly ensure that you have sufficient eCapitaVoucher in your CapitaStar account.
  • Mastercard – Kindly ensure that you have a valid Mastercard credit or debit card linked on your CapitaStar app.
  • DBS/POSB Payment Modes – Kindly ensure that you have linked your CapitaStar account on the DBS PayLah! app. DBS/POSB Payment Modes refer to spend with DBS/POSB Credit or Debit Cards and DBS PayLah! via NETS QR (including DBS/POSB American Express, Mastercard, VISA credit or debit cards and/or DBS PayLah!). For avoidance of doubt, DBS/POSB Mastercard cardmembers must link their CapitaStar account on DBS PayLah! and link their DBS/POSB Mastercard on the CapitaStar app for transactions to be captured as both DBS/POSB and Mastercard transactions.
  • ShopBack Pay – Kindly ensure that you have linked your CapitaStar account on ShopBack.

 

1.3.4.Raffles Prestige Exclusive: Eligible Shopper who is a Raffles Prestige member will receive double (2X) Lucky Draw chances during the Lucky Draw Period by spending a minimum of Singapore Dollars ($60) in a single transaction at any of the participating CapitaLand malls throughout the Qualifying Period(s).

 

 

1.4.   Lucky Draw chances may take up to 7 working days to be issued.

 

1.5.   There is no limit to the number of Lucky Draw chances an Eligible Shopper can accumulate throughout each relevant Qualifying Period(s) for the relevant Draws. Snowballing of chances from one draw to the next draw shall not be allowed. All accumulated chances will be reset at the start of each Qualifying Period(s).

 

1.6.    Eligible Shoppers shall be disqualified and excluded from any future Draws after the Eligible Shopper has won a Lucky Draw prize in this Lucky Draw.

 

1.7.    Lucky Draw Prizes are outlined below and the Organiser reserves the right to, at any time and in its sole and absolute discretion, replace and/or substitute any of the Prize(s) with any other item(s) of similar value. Further details on the Lucky Draw Prize(s) will be provided as soon as they are available.

1.8.    The Lucky Draw Prizes are not transferable, or exchangeable for cash and/or any item or otherwise, either partially or wholly.

 

 

2.   ELIGIBILITY

 

2.1.  Without limiting the generality of the above, the following persons shall not be eligible for the Lucky Draw:

a.   employees of any retail tenants in the Participating CapitaLand malls; and

b.   persons who the Organiser may decide to exclude at its discretion without notice and without providing any reason, at any time.

 

2.2.  The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any member who is found at any time (whether before or after the receipt of any Prize) to be in breach of the relevant eligibility or qualifying criteria. Any Prize awarded to any member may be forfeited, and if collected, shall be returned to the Organiser promptly and may be dealt with the Organiser’s sole discretion.

 

 

3.   QUALIFYING SPEND

 

3.1.   From 1 July to 7 July 2025, only the total final amount paid as indicated on the tax invoice(s) / receipt(s) issued by the participating store(s) will be accepted for this Lucky Draw. NETS or credit / debit card transaction slips are not acceptable in place of original copies of shopping receipts. From 8 July to 30 September 2025, only the total final amount paid at the participating store(s) using eCapitaVoucher, linked Mastercard credit or debit card, DBS/POSB payment modes (including DBS/POSB American Express, Mastercard, VISA credit or debit cards and/or DBS PayLah!) or ShopBack Pay will be accepted for this Lucky Draw. Refer to 1.3.3 for more information on the Eligible Payment Methods to qualify for the lucky draw chance.  

 

3.2.    Notwithstanding Clause 1.3 of this Terms and Conditions hereinabove, receipt(s) from car grooming services, SingPost transactions, purchase of parking coupons, purchase or top up of Cashcard / stored value cards, purchase or top up of stores’ membership card, gift cards and vouchers (i.e. eCapitaVoucher or participating stores’ vouchers), SISTIC transactions, AXS / SAM machines transactions and bill payments, purchase of lottery tickets, purchase of movie tickets and food and beverages at cinema, any transactions at pawn shops and money changer, bank and other financial institutions’ transactions, transactions from pushcarts and stalls at temporary roadshows, transactions at GP, Dental and Specialist Clinics, and transactions from supermarkets (Cold Storage, Don Don Donki, NTUC FairPrice, FairPrice Xtra, FairPrice Finest, and GIANT) are not eligible for use as a transaction in this Lucky Draw. For the avoidance of doubt, transactions at Cold Storage and Thai Supermarket at Aperia, FairPrice at SingPost Centre and Scarlett Supermarket at Lot One, Plaza Singapura & Westgate shall be recognized for the purposes of this Lucky Draw. For purchases of goods and services made by instalments, only the instalment receipt showing the value of the purchase(s) made on the same day of the redemption, will be eligible for use as a transaction in this Lucky Draw for CapitaStar Rewards programme. Transactions(s) from deposit placements, order placements, payments using tenant / credit card loyalty points, payment via tenant’s online ordering/table ordering platform and transactions made with UOB Mastercard via Apple Pay will not be accepted for the purposes of this Lucky Draw. Refer to our Help Centre for the full exclusion list: https://www.capitastar.com/sg/en/contact-us.html

 

 

3.3.    The Organiser may reject any tax invoice, receipts and / or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive.

 

3.4.    The Organiser reserves the right to verify all purchases made by the Eligible Shopper and the tax invoice(s)/ receipt(s) before processing the redemption of the Lucky Draw Prize (if any).

 

3.5.    The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of any person in relation to the Promotion, and at any time, the Organiser may disqualify any person from participation without providing any reason.

 

 

4.     PRIZE NOTIFICATION

 

4.1.    All Prize Winners will be notified in writing by email and/or phone.

 

4.2.    Prize Winners will need to present their photo identification document, together with the notification email from the Organiser for verification to collect their prize.

 

4.3.    The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any Prize Winner subsequently found to be ineligible or disqualified from the Promotion.

 

 

4.4.    All Prize Winners of the vehicles in the Grand Prizes of each Draw shall present their photo identification document, together with the winning letters issued by the Organiser for verification to redeem their prizes. The Prize must be redeemed within two months of the announcement of the Prize and the vehicles must be registered in Singapore with the relevant authority within one month of redemption. Tan Chong Motor Sales Pte Ltd (TCMS) and Motor Image Enterprises Pte Ltd (MIE) will be the sole parties facilitating the registration of the Nissan and Subaru vehicles in the Grand Prize of each Draw for the Prize winners. The Prize Winners shall pay for the prevailing Certificate of Entitlement (COE) and provide all necessary information and/or supporting documents for the purposes of registering the Prize by the date set by the Organiser. The Prize Winners have to inform TCMS or MIE if he/she would like to keep the prize or sell it. Claiming of prize will be subjected to terms and conditions of TCMS or MIE.

 

4.5.    Prize Winners of the Grand Prizes of each Draw will bear all related costs and expenses (including processing fees, bank charges, incidentals charges, applicable taxes, insurance, visas, out-of-pocket expenses, management and maintenance fees, etc.) for the registration of the cars with the relevant authority in Singapore. The Grand Prizes of each Draw are excluding COE, Servicing Programme, Road Tax, Number Plates, Insurance, In-Vehicle Unit, Good and Services Tax and Vehicle Registration Fee. The actual colour of the vehicles are determined by TCMS and MIE. Specifications may vary from pictures shown in the Lucky Draw marketing and publicity collaterals/materials and pictures are provided strictly for reference only.

 

4.6.    All other Prizes that remain unclaimed or unredeemed 2 months after the prize announcement shall be forfeited. Any Prize Winner whose Prize has been forfeited hereunder shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation. The Organiser reserves the rights to deal with all unclaimed prizes in any manner deemed fit.

 

4.7.    Acceptance of any prize shall constitute consent on the Prize Winner’s part to allow the use of the Prize Winner’s name, image, voice and/or likeness by the Organiser, TCMS and MIE for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

 

4.8.    All Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated.

 

4.9.    The Organiser may at any time and without notice in its sole and absolute discretion and without assigning any reason, substitute any Prize with any other item of a similar or greater value.

 

4.10. The Organiser makes no representation, warranty or undertaking whatsoever as to any implied terms or conditions with respect to any Prize.

 

4.11. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any consequences, including but not limited to loss of life, injury to person and/or damage to property, arising from or in connection with the Lucky Draw and/or redemption or use of the Prizes.

 

4.12. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any administrative and registration arrangements related to the Prizes won.

 

4.13. The Organiser assumes no liability or responsibility whatsoever in respect of any defect or deficiency in any of the Prize (or any part thereof) or the nature/consumption of the Prize (or any part thereof) and will not entertain any direct or indirect correspondence with any Prize winner in this regard.

 

4.14. In the event of any dispute, the Prize Winners’ entitlement is subject to the Organiser’s sole discretion and final determination.

 

 

5.     GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

5.1.    The eCapitaVoucher Prize cannot be exchanged for different denominations and is subject to the relevant terms and conditions governing the use of the eCapitaVoucher. Please refer to eCapitaVoucher terms and conditions.

 

5.2.    By participating in this Lucky Draw, the Member (CapitaStar members):

 

5.2.1.   acknowledges and consents to the processing, collection, use and disclosure of his / her Personal Data by the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related corporations including its holding company, CapitaLand Investment Limited (collectively, “CapitaLand Group”), and authorised agents, business partners and service providers in compliance with applicable data protection laws, regulations and guidelines to facilitate the administration of the Lucky Draw including compliance with the Lucky Draw Terms and Condition and that he / she has read and agreed with the CapitaLand Group’s and Data Protection Policy available at https://www.capitaland.com/international/en/legal-notices/privacy-policy.html  and  may be amended, replaced, substituted from time to time.

 

5.2.2.   agrees that the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, business partners and respective officers and employees shall not be liable for any actions, claims, demands, injuries, proceedings, liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses of any nature sustained by the member directly or indirectly by reason of or in connection with this Lucky Draw. The member shall indemnify and keep the Organiser and its officers, servants, agents and employees ("the Indemnified Parties") fully indemnified against any and all loss, damage, demand, liability, claims, expenses and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered and / or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties as a result of the breach of any of the terms and conditions herein by the member. Members are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all the T&Cs set out herein, as well as any other requirements set out in any related promotional material, and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications there to as may be made from time to time.

 

5.3.    Acceptance of any Prizes shall constitute consent on the part of the Eligible Shopper to allow the use of his / her name, image, voice and / or likeness by the Organiser for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and / or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

 

5.4.    All Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated.

 

5.5.    The Prizes shall be awarded on the presumption that the submitted tax invoice(s), receipt(s) and / or charge slip(s) are original copies and valid. The Organiser may reject any tax invoice, receipt and / or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive. In the event any tax invoice, receipt and / or charge slip is rejected by the Organiser as invalid, the Organiser shall reserve the right to void the Prizes awarded to the Eligible Shopper and recover the monetary value of the Prizes.

 

5.6.    The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in this Lucky Draw reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdraw or cancel this Lucky Draw and / or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.

 

5.7.    The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in this Lucky Draw or redeemed by vouchers or gift certificates and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same.

 

5.8.    By participating in this Lucky Draw, the Eligible Shopper represents that he / she has read and agreed with these Lucky Draw Terms and Conditions.

 

5.9.    These Lucky Draw Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and all participants in this Lucky Draw irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts to resolve all disputes.

 

5.10. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Lucky Draw shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.

 

5.11. Information stated in this Lucky Draw Terms and Conditions is correct at the time of publishing and is subject to change without prior notice.

To ensure awarding of Lucky Draw chances, do ensure that your PayLah! / ShopBack accounts and Mastercard are successfully linked to a CapitaStar account. However, if Lucky Draw chances have not been awarded after an hour, you may contact us at our hotline (65) 6631-9931 or drop us an email at retail@capitaland.com further assistance.

Members who have linked their CapitaStar and Changi Rewards accounts will no longer need to snap receipts to earn Lucky Draw chances for their transaction at JEWEL Changi Airport. Members will be automatically enrolled in the draw with Lucky Chance when you scan your Changi Rewards e-card at the point of purchase upon meeting the minimum spend requirement of $60 in a single receipt.

There is no limit to the number of Lucky Draw chances a CapitaStar member can accumulate throughout the qualifying period(s). 

You will be entitled to 3 Lucky Draw chances if you spend 3 x $60 receipts. However, you will only be entitled to 1 Lucky Draw chance if you spend $180 in a single receipt. 

Receipt(s) from car grooming services, SingPost transactions, purchase of parking coupons, purchase or top up of Cashcard / stored value cards, purchase or top up of stores’ membership card, gift cards and vouchers (i.e. eCapitaVoucher or participating stores’ vouchers), SISTIC transactions, AXS / SAM machines transactions and bill payments, purchase of lottery tickets, purchase of movie tickets and food and beverages at cinema, any transactions at pawn shops and money changer, bank and other financial institutions’ transactions, transactions from pushcarts and stalls at temporary roadshows at the participating malls, and transactions from supermarkets (Cold Storage, Don Don Donki, NTUC FairPrice, FairPrice Xtra, FairPrice Finest, and GIANT) are not eligible for use as a receipt in this Lucky Draw.

From 1 July 2024 to 7 July 2025, if your receipt is rejected due to incomplete or unclear information,  please re-submit your receipt with a clear mage showing the following information:

  • Mall Name

  • Shop Name

  • Unit Number

  • Transaction Date & Time

  • Receipt Number

  • Transaction Amount

Snowballing of chances from one draw to the next draw shall not be allowed. All accumulated chances will be reset at the start of each qualifying period(s).

Each member is entitled to win only 1 Lucky Draw prize from the Lucky Draw. Members shall be disqualified and excluded from any future Draws after the member has won a Lucky Draw prize in this Lucky Draw.
