Ascott triumphs at World Travel Awards with largest haul and Citadines crowned World’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand
La Clef Champs-Elysées Paris by The Crest Collection wins ‘World’s Leading Serviced Apartments 2023’
Singapore, 4 December 2023 – The Ascott Limited (Ascott), a lodging business unit wholly owned by CapitaLand Investment (CLI), has swept a total of 34 accolades at the Grand Final and regional World Travel Awards this year, emerging as the biggest winner with the largest haul of awards received amongst serviced apartment players, at the 30th edition of the World Travel Awards 2023.
Its aparthotel brand, Citadines, has been named ‘World’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand’. Supported by its design versatility, favourable guest demographics and resilient market fundamentals, Citadines is Ascott’s fastest growing brand. Citadines has one of the most extensive global footprints amongst aparthotel brands, with a portfolio of almost 200 properties both operating and in the pipeline across over 30 countries to date. Adopting a flex-hybrid model has enabled Citadines to offer the options of both hotel rooms and serviced residences, reinforced with a robust brand experience programme that caters well to the lifestyle needs of its guests. The Citadines brand has also secured its seventh consecutive win as ‘Europe’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand’.
In addition to Citadines, Ascott’s La Clef Champs-Elysées Paris by The Crest Collection has been recognised as the ‘World’s Leading Serviced Apartments 2023’. Located near the iconic Champs-Elysées in Paris, the exquisite La Clef Champs-Élysées Paris was built in 1907 by the Hennessy family. The design of this luxurious property features monochrome tones with a touch of gold and artfully juxtaposes period architecture and marble surfaces with chic modern furniture. The apartments with terraces overlook the Golden Triangle district and offer an extraordinary view of the most beautiful monuments of the City of Light, including the Eiffel Tower. The spacious rooms combine comfort and design, allowing guests to make the most of their stays in the French capital, whether they are travelling for business or pleasure. This property is also a five-time winner of ‘Europe’s Leading Serviced Apartments’ award.
In addition to the world category, Ascott clinched a total of 32 awards in the regional category. Of the title wins this year, 18 titles have been held by Ascott for at least two consecutive years, with Citadines winning ‘Germany’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand 2023’ for the eleventh consecutive year. New award highlights this year include the group being awarded the title of ‘Leading Serviced Apartment Brand’ across multiple markets including Malaysia, Singapore and the Middle East.
Ms. Tan Bee Leng, Ascott’s Managing Director for Brand & Marketing, said: “We are truly humbled by this recognition at the World Travel Awards with a record number of accolades for Ascott.
