  • 2005 -2009

    Acquired Data Centres (Kim Chuan 1 and Telepark) in Singapore

    Completed first Build-to-Suit Data Centre (Kim Chuan 2) in Singapore

  • 2011-2015

    Wholesale lease of space to 21ViaNet (Beijing, China)

    Awarded a Build-to-Suit Data Centre tender for Telekom Malaysia (IPDC Iskandar)

  • 2020-2021

    Launched Singapore 9 Tai Seng Data Centre

    Acquired 11 Data Centres in Europe

    Acquired our first hyperscale (55MW) Data Centre campus in China

    Acquired land parcel in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, India, to build a greenfield Data Centre

  • Manohar Khiatani

    Manohar Khiatani

    Senior Executive Director,
    CapitaLand Investment

    Manohar is Senior Executive Director at CapitaLand Investment (CLI), where he assists the Group CEO in strategic projects, Group-wide initiatives as well as the India, business/industrial park and data centre businesses. He also oversees the Group Centre of Excellence for Customer Solutions and Innovation.

    Prior to joining CapitaLand, Manohar was Deputy Group CEO of Ascendas-Singbridge, which merged with CapitaLand in 2019. Before joining Ascendas in 2013, he was CEO of JTC Corporation, the Singapore government’s lead agency for planning, promoting and developing industrial infrastructure and facilities. Prior to that, Manohar had a long career with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and was its Deputy Managing Director. While at EDB, he played a key role in the development of several sectors in Singapore’s economy and led EDB’s operations in the Americas and Europe.

    Concurrent with his CapitaLand’s responsibilities, Manohar is Special Advisor to the Chairman of the EDB.

    Manohar holds a Master in Naval Architecture from the University of Hamburg, Germany. He has also attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.

  • Eugene Seo

    Eugene Seo

    Managing Director, Data Centre,
    CapitaLand Investment

    Eugene Seo is Managing Director, Data Centre at CapitaLand Investment (CLI). He oversees strategy and execution of the data centre business, and works closely with CLI’s listed funds and private funds on this specialised asset class.

    Prior to CapitaLand, Eugene held several roles in investment and portfolio management at Ascendas-Singbridge (ASB).

    Before joining ASB, he was Head of InfoComms & Media at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and responsible for industry development and investment promotion of Singapore’s digital services sector.

    Eugene holds a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, USA and a Master of Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, USA.

  • Surajit Chatterjee

    Surajit Chatterjee

    Managing Director, Data Centre, India,
    CapitaLand Investment

    Surajit Chatterjee is the Managing Director, Data Centre, India at CapitaLand Investment (CLI), responsible for managing CLI’s data centre portfolio and optimising and expanding operations in India. He has been instrumental in setting up the Data Centre business for CapitaLand in India, establishing a strong foundation for its growth and success.

    Surajit’s career spans over 26 years in the IT, telecommunications, and infrastructure industries, where he built deep domain expertise in data centre operations, managed services, and cloud computing.

    Prior to joining CLI, he was associated with organisations like Sify Technologies, Tata Communications (ST Telemedia), Tulip Telecom, and HCL, where he was instrumental in conceptualising, developing, and rolling out innovative business models.

    Surajit graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University, India. He attended the General Management Programme at IIM Indore and holds a Master’s degree in Marketing Management (MBA) from AICTE, Delhi University, India.

  • Tommy Leung

    Tommy Leung

    General Manager, Data Centre, China,
    CapitaLand Investment

    Tommy Leung is General Manager, Data Centre (China) at CapitaLand Investment (CLI). He oversees data centre projects development including the design and construction of greenfield projects, as well as business development and operations in China. 

    Prior to CLI, Tommy  was the Head of Data Centre China overseeing investment and operations at Ascendas-Singbridge (ASB).

    Before joining ASB, he was Chief Operating Officer of DCS Co. He was previously the General Manager at China Newtech Technology and Wharf COL as well as Executive Director of Star Telecom Holdings.

    Tommy holds a Master of Law in Chinese Law from the City University of Hong Kong and a Master of Business Administration from University of Hull, United Kingdom.

  • Jay Khym

    Jay Khym

    General Manager, Data Centre, Korea,
    CapitaLand Investment

    Jay Khym is General Manager, Data Centre (Korea) at CapitaLand Investment (CLI). He is responsible for managing and expanding CLI’s data centre business in South Korea.

    Jay brings more than 35 years of diverse experience in the global telecommunications, information and communication technology, and data centre industries. Before joining CLI, Jay was the Country Manager and Head of Digital Realty Korea.

    He also managed his own consulting firm, Khym & Jay Global, specialising in the telecommunications and data centre markets. Prior to that, Jay was Regional Managing Director at AT&T APAC Wholesale.

    Jay graduated with a Bachelor of English Language & Education from Korea University and holds a Master of Business Administration from Yonsei University, South Korea.
