CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF), the philanthropic arm of CapitaLand Group, has been established since 2005. As a registered charity and grantmaker, CHF contributes towards building resilience in communities where CapitaLand operates, through education, health and well-being initiatives targeting children, youth and seniors.
Going beyond donations, CHF also advocates volunteerism as an integral part of building a caring and inclusive community.
CHF (India) was established in 2019 to deepen the Group’s social impact on local communities. Its primary focus is on supporting the educational needs of children in India by providing them with a safe and conducive learning environment and improving their access to education and development opportunities.
To date, CHF has contributed over INR 100 million benefitting more than 5,300 children across four cities in India. CapitaLand’s staff also volunteer their time and expertise in three local schools funded by CHF, providing regular support through activities such as art competitions, environmental workshops and extra-curricular trainings together with tenant volunteers.
