1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 “Ignite Your Passions” (the “Promotion”) is exclusive to members of CapitaStar (referred to as “Eligible Shopper”). Shoppers can download the CapitaStar mobile application and sign up within the App as a member to qualify and participate in this promotion. Eligible Shoppers can pay via eCapitaVoucher or link their Mastercard/DBS payment mode – DBS/POSB Credit or Debit cards and DBS Paylah! or ShopBack Pay (DBS Paylah! account or ShopBack account must be linked to CapitaStar app) before making payment. CapitaStar rewards for this campaign is only awarded for spend at Funan only.

1.2 The Promotion is organised by CapitaLand Retail Management Pte Ltd (“Organiser”) and shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”)   

1.3 The promotion period (“Promotion Period”) is from 7 August to 11 October 2026, both dates inclusive. Promotion is available daily, Mon – Sun (including Public Holidays), from 10AM to 10PM.

1.4 The Promotion mechanics of “Ignite Your Cashback” are as follows:  

1.4.1 Upon spending the minimum transactional value at Funan as shown in the table below (“Qualifying Spend”), Eligible Shoppers will receive the relevant amount of eCapitaVoucher / STAR$® (“Reward”).

Eligible Shoppers who complete any of the qualifying spend tiers in the table above will receive the following eVoucher Reward:

1.4.2 For Tiers 1 and 2, Eligible Shoppers can combine any number of transactions with transactional value of Singapore Dollars Twenty (S$20) or more on the same day (“Eligible Transaction”) to satisfy the Qualifying Spend, subjected to Clause 3.2 of this Terms and Condition herein.

Specifically, to satisfy the Qualifying Spend of Singapore Dollars One Hundred and Fifty (S$150) for Tier 1, at least one of the Eligible Transactions will need to have a minimum transactional value of Singapore Dollars Fifty (S$50).

For the Qualifying Spend of Singapore Dollars Four Hundred (S$400) for Tier 2, at least one of the Eligible Transactions will need to have a minimum transactional value of Singapore Dollars One Hundred (S$100). For the Qualifying Spend of $80 eCapitaVoucher, Eligible Shoppers must spend a minimum of $80 eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction.

1.5 The lucky draw qualifying period (“Lucky Draw Period”) is between 7 August to 11 October 2026, both dates inclusive.

1.5.1 The Lucky Draw mechanics of Ignite Your Passions are as follows:

All Eligible Shoppers will receive one (1) Lucky Draw chance with each qualifying transaction by spending a minimum of Singapore Dollars Fifty ($50) in a single transaction throughout the Lucky Draw Period. Each Eligible Shopper will receive a maximum of ten (10) chances based on the first ten (10) qualifying transactions made at Funan.

One (1) winner of the Lucky Draw will have their corresponding winning transaction expenses made at Funan – rewards capped at $3,000 worth of eCapitaVoucher. The Lucky Draw will be conducted in Mid-October 2026.

1.5.2 By participating in this campaign, the winner of this Lucky Draw acknowledges that they will be contacted via call and/or email that is registered to their CapitaStar account. The profile details in the CapitaStar account must be accurate, true and complete at the time of issuance of Lucky Draw chance.

1.5.3 More details on the Reward will be shared with the Lucky Draw winner via email as per registered to their CapitaStar account.

1.5.4 The Lucky Draw chance and Reward issued is non-transferrable nor exchangeable.

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 Without limiting the generality of the above, the following persons shall not be eligible for the Promotion:

a.  employees of any retail tenants in Funan; and

b.  persons who the Organiser may decide to exclude at its discretion without notice and without providing any reason, at any time.

2.2 The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any member who is found at any time (whether before or after the receipt of any Reward) to be in breach of the relevant eligibility or qualifying criteria. Any Reward awarded to any member may be forfeited, and if collected, shall be returned to the Organiser promptly and may be dealt with the Organiser’s sole discretion.

2.3 Eligible Shoppers should pay via their linked Mastercard/DBS payment mode – DBS/POSB Credit or Debit cards and DBS Paylah! or ShopBack Pay (DBS Paylah! account or ShopBack account must be linked to CapitaStar app), or eCapitaVoucher during the Promotion Period, as scanning of receipt(s) is no longer accepted with effect from 1 July 2025.

2.4 The Reward will be automatically credited into the Qualifying Eligible Shopper’s CapitaStar App upon approval of the qualifying spend. Please note that for payments via linked Mastercard, STAR$® awarding for certain transactions may take up to 7 working days to be awarded.

2.5 Purchases made via cash will not be eligible. The "Qualifying Spend" must be made via eCapitaVoucher, Mastercard, DBS PayLah!, DBS/POSB VISA, or ShopBack to be eligible.

2.6 The Reward in this Promotion is provided on a first-come, first-served basis and redemption is subject to availability, while stocks last. The Reward will be automatically credited directly into the CapitaStar App of the Qualifying Eligible Shopper upon successful verification of the qualifying spend.

2.7 The eCapitaVoucher Reward will expire within ninety-three (93) days from the date of issuance. Eligible Shoppers can tap on the “My Balance Summary” tab from the CapitaStar App main screen to view the Reward and the expiry date. The Organiser shall not be obliged to entertain any request to extend the validity of the Reward.

The F&B brand eVoucher Reward will expire by 31 October 2026.

2.8 The Reward offered is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is offered. No requests for extensions or replacements whatsoever will be entertained.

2.9 The Organiser reserves the right to vary or amend any terms & conditions at any time, without prior notice, and without liability. In case of any dispute, the Organiser’s decision shall be final and not appealable.

3. QUALIFYING SPEND

3.1 Only the total final amount paid via eCapitaVoucher or linked Mastercard/DBS payment mode as indicated on the tax invoice(s)/ receipt(s) issued by the participating store(s) will be accepted for this Promotion.

3.2 Notwithstanding Clause 1.4 of this Terms and Conditions hereinabove, receipt(s) from purchase of parking coupons, purchase or top up of Cashcard / stored value cards, purchase or top up of stores’ membership card, gift cards and vouchers (i.e. eCapitaVoucher or participating stores’ vouchers), transactions from pushcarts and stalls at temporary roadshows, and transactions from supermarkets (FairPrice Finest) are not eligible for use as a receipt in this Promotion. For purchases of goods and services made by instalments, only the amount paid via eCapitaVoucher or linked Mastercard/DBS payment mode made on the same day of the redemption, will be eligible for use as a receipt in this Promotion for CapitaStar Rewards programme. eCapitaVoucher or linked Mastercard/DBS payment modes from deposit placements, order placements, and payments using tenant / credit card loyalty points will not be accepted for the purposes of this Promotion. 

3.3 The Organiser may reject any amount paid via eCapitaVoucher or linked Mastercard/DBS payment mode, tax invoice, receipts and/or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive.

3.4 The Organiser reserves the right to verify all purchases made by the Eligible Shopper and the tax invoice(s)/ receipt(s) before processing the redemption of the Reward and/or Prize in the Promotion. 

 4. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITONS

4.1. By agreeing to participate in this promotion, you will be registered as a CapitaStar member.

4.2. All rewards/prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods, or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated. The Reward must be redeemed by the qualifying Eligible Shopper and is not transferable to any other shopper. The Management is not obliged to provide a replacement item of equal or similar value once the Reward has been fully redeemed. The Management reserves the right to replace the Reward with an item of similar value at any time without prior notice.

4.3. The eCapitaVoucher Reward and STAR$® Reward cannot be exchanged for different denominations and is subject to the relevant terms and conditions governing the use of the same.

4.4. By participating in this Promotion: 

4.4.1. The Member (CapitaStar members) acknowledges and consents to the processing, collection, use and disclosure of his/her Personal Data by the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related corporations including its holding company, CapitaLand Limited (collectively, “CapitaLand Group”), and authorised agents, business partners and service providers in compliance with applicable data protection laws, regulations and guidelines to facilitate the administration of the Promotion including compliance with the Promotion Terms and Condition and that he/ she has read and agreed with the CapitaLand Group’s and Data Protection Policy available at https://www.capitaland.com/international/en/legal-notices/privacy-policy.html  and may be amended, replaced, substituted from time to time. 

4.4.2. Agrees that the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, business partners and respective officers and employees shall not be liable for any actions, claims, demands, injuries, proceedings, liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses of any nature sustained by the member directly or indirectly by reason of or in connection with this Promotion. The member shall indemnify and keep the Organiser and its officers, servants, agents and employees ("the Indemnified Parties") fully indemnified against any and all loss, damage, demand, liability, claims, expenses and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered and/or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties as a result of the breach of any of the terms and conditions herein by the member. Members are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all the T&Cs set out herein, as well as any other requirements set out in any related promotional material, and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications there to as may be made from time to time.

4.5. Acceptance of any eCapitaVoucher Reward and STAR$® Reward shall constitute consent on the part of the Eligible Shopper to allow the use of his/her name, image, voice and/or likeness by the Organiser for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

4.6. The eCapitaVoucher Reward and  STAR$® Reward will not be awarded until the submitted tax invoice(s), receipt(s) and/ or charge slip(s) are determined to be valid. The Organiser may reject any tax invoice, receipt and/ or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive. 

4.7. The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in this Promotion reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdrawal or cancel this Promotion and/or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party. 

4.8. The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in this Promotion or redeemed by vouchers or gift certificates and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same. 

4.9. By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper represents that he/ she has read and agreed with these Promotion Terms and Conditions.

4.10. This Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and all participants in this Promotion irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts to resolve any or all disputes.

4.11. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.
